One of the best meals I had in Japan! Chef Dan was amazing and every dish was surprising and delicious. He even modified the menu a bit to accommodate my food allergy and a friend’s dietary restriction so everyone could enjoy each course. A must do!

Lovely Kyoto chef's kitchen experience. Amazing to watch the chef create fascinating 7 course culinary journey with one knife and one cutting board! Local ingredients are front and center here. Only 8 seats so it's very intimate setting.

Dan is very friendly and talented at what he does. The food was amazing! Nice intimate and relaxed setting. Watching him cook made me want to learn! My first omakase in Japan so didn’t know what to expect but it was very nice that he spoke some English and the other guests were friendly.

Food was incredibly delicious. Ambience was great. The small setting allowed us to interact with the chef as well as the other guests. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We highly recommend it for a unique dining experience.

What a great experience, Chef and Sous Chef were kind, accommodating and efficient. The food was delicious. First time I having cured red snapper, and pan fried eel and they definitely opened up my palate. When we return, we will definitely pay Another C, Another visit ( Pun intended :-) ). Only regret was not taking a picture with the Chef.

What a fantastic meal and experience. My wife and I took my 8 year old and 24 year old sons for a beautiful multi-course dinner. It was spectacular. Chef Dan and his wife were personable, the food was delicious and the ambiance was great. The attention to detail and the taste of each course was outstanding. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone that has even one day in Kyoto!
