Our server, Riley, was an absolute star. We ate most dishes on the first page of the menu and omg everything was delicious!! The cabbage is a total sleeper and is a definite must!! We also tried most of the desserts and so so tasty!! The cocktails were also to die for !

Loved all the dishes. We had beets, wagyu fried rice, the lamb chops, Taiwanese chicken, sea bass and short ribs. Nothing was left on our plates including slurping the last of the broth on the sea bass. Great for sharing. Ambiance was a fun nightclub vibe. Ask for a booth. Service was meh. I asked for a steak knife to cut the short rib and was told the butter knife would do it. Was stood over while I proceeded to mash the meat into 4 pieces/piles for table ( it was fall off the bone delish no matter). They were slow to clear dirty dishes. My empty cocktail glass was on the table the whole night.

Leela was a fantastic server, she made us feel special. Nice place with horrible accoustics, typical of MaLarkey establishments. Food was outstanding.

Celebrated my birthday here and literally everything was amazing from the good, to our waitress, to the restaurant allowing me to bring in my own personal cake! 10/10

Food was very good but nothing to write home about. Service was excellent. Ambiance was EXTREMELY loud and felt more like being at the club than at dinner.

I've never had better service, dining at a restaurant. It was truly top-notch. The food, additionally, was incredible. That was my wife's and my favorite meal we've ever eaten.

Well worth every cent. The food is delicious, beautiful and unique. The atmosphere is intriguing and well thought out. When we came in the shades were down and the darkness added to the ambience - we liked it better when they were down.

We were celebrating my husbands birthday and it couldn’t have been better. The service was fantastic. The server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and gave us fantastic recommendations. She was kind and helpful. The food was very tasty. This is our second time dining here and we will definitely return.

We were very pleased with the food presented to us! The Fusion of Fiipino origin and style with local influences and ingredients makes the experience so amazing! We loved all the appetizers and entrees we picked out! Definitely recommend this restaurant while in the San Diego area!

Tara Monsod has taken a cuisine that is not well known and taken it to an exciting level. Flavors are spectacular in a elegant atmosphere. Worth the wait to get in and great vibe when you get there. She has a wonderful team that we treat you right!

My meal was outstanding from lemongrass gin & tonic to cucumber salad, lamb chops (exceptional!) and crispy potatoes (I’ll dream of!) My husband had a seafood entree that under delivered for him. No scallops as stated on menu. But he loved his old fashioned and wagyu dumplings he’d come back for (right along w tasting my potato dish-he said “next time!) We got in and out joying great service and old school ambience of restaurant in time to keep the entertainment of Lang Lang @ SD Symphony in “theme” great night! Thx!

Such a great experience! Our waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful! We would recommend everything, but some standouts were the shrimp toast, wagyu steak, and the yuzu apple sorbet!

When quiet the decor sets a sophisticated tone. Service less so. The food is good not superlative. As the restaurant filled the noise level was unbearable. Cocktails were creative. Hamachi and “tuna” fresh in well balanced presentations. Dumplings a nice dish. Crispy potatoes starred among many ho hum dishes. Wagyu was succulent. Not the best we’ve tasted but delicious. The noise and limited number of memorable dishes will keep us looking for fine dining in San Diego.

I think I ordered a bit too much for 2 people but here's the breakdown: 1. To start of I ordered cucumbers. They were a nice fresh start. 2. I am not a meat lover but I tried the wagyu beef and it was honestly amazing! 3. The crab fried rice was fluffy and flavorful too! 4. The Branzino Cha ca was delicious I loved sauce, it paired very well with not just the fish but also with the rice noodles. 5. Crispy potatoes for a side was fire. I love me some potatoes. 6. For desserts I ordered the coffee & calamansi mouse. Lovely way to finish our dinner. Added bonus I was celebrating our 9th Anniversary and they brought us another dessert which was also delicious!

This is probably one of the best meals you can find in San Diego. It is well worth the splurge, and I definitely recommend going with a group, so you can try more items on the menu. Everything we tasted was beyond delicious! Each dish is crafted as if it's the star of the meal. The chef is truly a master of their craft!

Was the wagyu wowzers? Yes. But was the server rushy and was the place blasting techno Muzak that sounded like it belonged in a P90X exercise video? Also yes. The chef’s James Beard nomination is not enough to tempt me back to sit through that unpleasant sound experience and rushy waiter again.
