Great food! Ambience was fun and energetic. As cars as the service we felt a little bit rushed but overall everything was outstanding.

Best dining experience we’ve had in years! First, the food — amazingly creative flavor combinations that surprised our palettes with every bite. Not a single dish disappointed. Second, the service — our server Angelica was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine. Top restaurants can have servers too scripted and fake in their approach — not here. Angelica never once rushed us (which sadly seems to be the norm at many high-end restaurants now) and made our anniversary dinner one to remember. Third, the ambiance — the design is dramatic and spectacular yet comfortable and not imposing. They have a great music track and play it at just the right level. Such a relief from overly-loud restaurants. Can’t understand why Animae hasn’t received at least one Michelin star — they rivaled any of the ones we’ve been to. It’s our new favorite restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!

Everything was excellent. Although I was surprised with a 4% surcharge added to bill. Server told me it is a mandatory fee.

Animae was delicious! Everything was great, beautiful dishes with awesome flavors. Staff were really nice and friendly, the mood was upscale dark but there was enough light to see your food. I thought they went a little overkill with all the silverware they brought out over and over with every dish haha but if they wanna wash that many utensils, more power to em! We had a great time and I will be back again soon! Try the pig ears, they were so full of flavor and cooked perfectly!

Food was delicious but had some annoying things happen. We booked our res for 8:45pm (the only other times were way early like 4pm). We got a call from them at 8:20pm saying are we still coming, because their kitchen closes at 9:15pm. It made us feel like a burden for being there at the time, like they wanted us to say no, because they wanted to go home. When being seated we were warned again kitchen was closing soon so hurry up and choose. The valet when we got there (on time) told us they were leaving soon and then made us come out to get our keys, after only our first dish was served. It really made us feel rushed and unimportant :( In addition, my husband wanted the dry aged steak but the smallest they had was 20+ oz. That’s kind of humongous and would take days to eat. So although the food was delicious, we wouldn’t want to “bother” them again by returning.

animae's food was really good, its literally your filipino food but make it fine dining. Price was reasonable for the food and serving is portioned pretty well i was able to share my foods with 3 other people. I recommend the dinuguan, ginataan, crispy pork ear and the crispy potatoes. i would definitely come back !

I booked this restaurant for my team and I. We absolutely loved the experience from the moment we walked in until we left. The ambiance was clean, modern century decor, impeccably curated playlist, and the staff couldn’t have provided better service. Everyone was attentive, courteous, and made sure our experience was noteworthy. The food was flavorful with beautifully complex profile that compliments family style dining. We will definitely return.

Fantastic dinner experience with delicious and interesting takes on Filipino and other southeast Asian dishes. Our favorites were the coal roasted cabbage with miso butter and the short rib kare kare. As Filipinos, we found that the dishes honor the traditional roots of our food while still having fun. For dessert, both the ube profiteroles and the coffee calamansi mouse were perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. Would recommend for any special occasion!

We unfortunately went on Mother’s Day and the fixed menu had no flavor and seemed like it had been prepared days in advance. Nothing to go back for. Service and ambience was excellent, but the food seemed put together for looks, but not level up flavor.

We had a wonderful Mother's Day dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch. The ambience was festive and beautiful! I was also given 3 beautiful roses as I left. It was a magical evening. We loved it.

Great bar. Great appetizers. Service rushed us. Duck didn’t taste like duck and the burned cabbage on the side was not eatable. Banana desert wonderful, jello and coconut desert not good.

I’ve dined at Animae before so I knew what to expect. The interior and ambiance are nice. It is a great place for a birthday dinner or to celebrate a special occasion. Food is average for this price point. I think the idea for the dishes is good, but it just feels like something is missing each time. For instance, the mushroom sisig could have been great, but it just misses the mark a little bit. I think if the mushrooms were grilled and cooked more so it had charred or crispy edges, the dish would be wonderful. Each dish we had feels like it was almost there, but just didn’t quite get there.

I’ve been wanting to go here for a while and it certainly did not disappoint. Met and exceeded my expectations in every way. Each dish was delicious, presentation was great and the flavors were interesting and intricate. Additionally the service was EXCEPTIONAL! Found that perfect balance of being detailed and attentive without being intrusive or annoying. Well done!

Love them ambiance, food and presentation. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Proudly brought our friends from out of town there and were absolutely not disappointed.

Booked this weeks ahead to celebrate my son’s college graduation and so glad I did! It was so special. Food was exceptional and the service was impeccable. It’s not an inexpensive place to dine but I wanted something special and it did not disappoint.

The food options were plentiful and EVERYTHING was delicious. They will mark up a menu for food allergies is needed. The service was great and the decor and music kept things living, on a Wednesday evening!! Would highly recommend and we WILL be returning!

The food was amazing! Chef Tara Monsod has done a phenomenal job taking Filipino dishes to another level, especially the lechon kawali. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

We started our dining experience by being seated in a nice booth as we requested. The decor is beautiful and has a luxurious feeling. It sets the tone for a very special date night. Drew was our server. He created a welcoming and comfortable vibe by being friendly and engaging. He took my nut allergy seriously that truly made me feel important as a customer. He and Jackson, his assistant provided excellent customer service. Drew timed our courses so we had time to enjoy them. They didn’t come out all at once. We started with the Wonton with wagyu and Taiwanese chicken. Both delicious. The chicken had a unique combination of flavors. We then had the Hunan Lamb Chops and wagyu fried rice. We enjoyed every morsel. What a special dining experience. It is a bit pricey and small portions but worth it. We cannot wait to return.

What a lovely experience! Food was excellent! Everything we ate was top notch and carefully created. We had the tuna kinilaw (the calamansi with coconut milk is chef’s kiss), wagyu wontons, and Taiwanese chicken for the apps. Then dinuguan (who knew dinuguan sauce would go well with a super soft and tender beef cheek!), crab fried rice and Szechuan spicy sea bass for mains. We thought everything was gonna be served in small portions but it was just right for the two of us and actually was so stuffed we ended up taking home the leftovers. If you like ube I would recommend their ube cocktail Midnight in Manila. Service was excellent too! We were greeted with friendliness and smiling faces! Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. He was always attentive and never forgot about us regardless of how busy it was. A+ service! Came here to celebrate my birthday and it was a good one indeed! Would definitely recommend coming here on special occasions or date night.

Our server, Riley, was an absolute star. We ate most dishes on the first page of the menu and omg everything was delicious!! The cabbage is a total sleeper and is a definite must!! We also tried most of the desserts and so so tasty!! The cocktails were also to die for !

Loved all the dishes. We had beets, wagyu fried rice, the lamb chops, Taiwanese chicken, sea bass and short ribs. Nothing was left on our plates including slurping the last of the broth on the sea bass. Great for sharing. Ambiance was a fun nightclub vibe. Ask for a booth. Service was meh. I asked for a steak knife to cut the short rib and was told the butter knife would do it. Was stood over while I proceeded to mash the meat into 4 pieces/piles for table ( it was fall off the bone delish no matter). They were slow to clear dirty dishes. My empty cocktail glass was on the table the whole night.

Leela was a fantastic server, she made us feel special. Nice place with horrible accoustics, typical of MaLarkey establishments. Food was outstanding.
