We went here six years ago for our anniversary, so I made the reservation and surprised her for our seventh anniversary, the food was just as great as it was the first time, I would recommend this place for a romantic evening

The food was amazing as always.... the waitress was so good I left her a 30% tip.

My husband and I wanted home cooked, organic and keto dinner. Wonderful on all three, special food requests were welcomed with a smile.

My wife and I tried Angelo’s for the first time as part of our Valentines celebration based on reviews about it being romantic. Unfortunately, we didn’t find it romantic at all. Lighting too bright and no candles on tables. Looked like Christmas decoration still up in some places. We were seated next to a very large group. Fortunately they were not too loud. Furniture dated as are lampshades. We had a wonderful server and did not find the wait for food unusually long compared to other reviewers. We shared the calamari app and had a good sauce but squid chewy. My wife had the special soup and enjoyed it, followed by the eggplant dish(not eggplant parm) and though it was very good. Eggplant nicely grilled. I had the lamb chops. Good portion and almost rare as I ordered ( a bit more than rare). Nicely spiced. Prices are high for the area. Not sure if we’ll return.

Delicious food and friendly, intimate service in a cozy venue. Prices are too high by about 20%. Food is very fresh and they try to use organic foods if possible. A bit cramped in the front room - rear room is more comfortable. Angelo will come by the table and chat - a nice bit of old time restaurant charm. This neighborhood cafe never disappoints. Everything is expertly prepared and flavors are bold. Calimari served in a spicy tomato basil sauce was toothsome and mouth filling. A perfect starter along with delicious focaccia to soak up the garlicky sauce. The house smoked salmon in a gorgonzola cream sauce with peas and arugula is perhaps a degree too rich but is lavishly decadent nonetheless. This is a great date or anniversary cafe. Tiramisu was likewise decadent with bittersweet chocolate dominating the palate. A bit more balance with the rum would have made this a perfect dessert. All in all Angelo's is a great place to indulge when you have a few extra dollars to spend, especially if you are in love.
