Food: main dish was very nice but cold dishes was average or below average. Service was also below average.

On top of a hotel is this great little restaurant bar. The views were great. We were seated inside which wasn’t a bad thing as it was a bit windy and cold. Heaters in the covered area kept us warm. We ordered a pasta dish each, seafood and the courgette. Both were presented hot and looked fantastic. My seafood dish was lovely, full of flavour and delicious. My wife enjoyed her courgette pasta dish and especially liked the mix of deep fried with raw courgette. We shared a bottle of white on the advice of our server, which complimented the dish perfectly. Music was a bit energetic and could be slightly more gentle and romantic for the setting but it didn’t bother us or take away from the experience. Would recommend.

The shrimp ravioli was AMAZING. I wasn't thrilled with the salad, but that's just a personal taste. However, I will say this was the best meal I've had in Florence. It was also the most expensive.

The real title of this review should be ‘The Right Hand Doesn’t Know What The Left Hand Is Doing’ . Funny place. Clearly catering to hotel guests. Food was prepared well, but made with caution so as to not offend the clients. Bread was outstanding as were the accompaniments, but with only 2 slices and 2 crisps; very small for a menu item. The salad was simple but fresh and delicious. Best item on the menu. Appetizers were acceptable to good but the size of only 2 bites. Little more than an amuse-bouche. Mains were only so-so to acceptable. Chocolate mousse was super weird consistency and looked like it was squeezed from the rear end of a goat. Wine list is horrid. Service was attentive, but super odd. Server cleared my husband’s plate and left mine for over 10 minutes. Sauce was poured then empty carafe was left on the table for the rest of the night. They know something is wrong as they CONSTANTLY asked us if everything was okay. How do you explain this mediocrity to a server? Beautiful views of the city.

Excellent lunch with large portions which were big enough to share between two. We had booked a table outside but arrived in heavy rain. However we still really enjoyed our lunch and the staff couldn’t have provided better service. Would definitely recommend for both the food and the lovely views across Florence whatever the weather.

Bad food. Only popular for the view which is only partial and limited to a handful of tables. Skip it.

Extremely overpriced for the size of the drinks and lack of snacks for aperitivo. We felt extremely rushed since they kept telling us we could only have the table for an hour and the waiter kept pressuring us to buy more rounds. Not a great experience.

Hello, thank you for taking some time on leaving us your feedback! Our bartenders put a lot of effort into finding the best ingredients and then creating the final product and the same for our chefs that's why we try to promote the dishes from the aperitivo menu that are specifically created to accompany the drinks! Regarding the timing on the table we have a policy for both cocktails and dinner. We always try our best to have our guests for as long as possible but often we are fully booked and we cannot fulfill the request. We always comunicate this policy to our guests at the moment of the reservation to avoid any issues. We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience on our Rooftop we still hope to see you again and hopefully change your idea!
