Anepalco is a modern Mexican restaurant located next to ALO Hotel in Orange, California. Our restaurant combines traditional Mexican ingredients with a modern twist. We focus on bringing flavors from all regions of Mexico to your palate. Come and try our famous chilaquiles, organic handmade tortillas, Huitlacoche Octopus tacos or al pastor tacos for lunch. Visit us for dinner where the menu gets sophisticated with a Agua Chile Negro, Chichilo Mole, Short Ribs Barbacoa with chochoyotes or Pork Belly Tacos. Treat yourself with a dessert like corn cake with nopal ice cream or an amazing Horchata Strawberry Cheesecake.

Anepalco have a great variety of Mexican wines from Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California, and specialize in tequila and mezcal craft cocktails. Come and join us for a great dining experience by Chef Daniel Godinez.

First time visitors. 1. Had to give my credit card for a reservation of 5. It also asked my reason for the online reservation which was a birthday celebration. But there was never an acknowledgement of this. 2. Chilaquiles were good, but were missing toppings. 3. Torta cubana- was too soggy. Give it 2 stars at best 4. Tacos- were excellent. Loved the home made tortillas. 5. French toast- was ok. Too overwhelming sweet.

The food was delicious and there was a variety of options. I went with someone and we got the carne asada plate, and green enchilada plate. It was good and the steak was cooked perfectly. They also had cocktails if you wanted them. Lastly, the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was helpful and courteous.

Portions were very small, so overpriced for the size. As we sad outside, it felt like we were forgotten.

We made a reservation to dine at Anepalco. Once we arrived and were seated the service was decent other than the water was not very helpful or accommodating. The food arrived after a bit of a wait and it was ok I suppose. The Mole was good but the other dishes we had with our group were ok at best and arrived cold. which was a let down. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day.

Very nixe and quaint restaurant attached to the hotel on the corner. Very delicious and flavorful food. The building has high ceilings ands beautiful decor. Nice big bar. Outdoor covered seating as well. Would recommend to anyone wanted to try elevated Mexican dishes.

Cute place nice vibe and drinks were great. I feel like I didn’t have enough protein in my meal which was a bummer, I still felt hungry after. Staff was kind.

Service was exceptional. App trip was awesome. Carne asada came out raw and chewy (asked for medium) Carnitas plate was great. Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because with two drinks its was $133 and I feel the carne meal could have been better.

The food was fine but overpriced. The space was small but loud and it was impossible to have a conversation with a party of 9 because you could only hear the people right next to you.
