We read the menu before coming to Anelya and weren’t sure that we would like the unusual ingredients in dishes that we were used to. But WOW!!!!! Every dish was exceptional! Some favorites were : sunflower seed hummus, borsch with duck and pears, varennyky, ribs, and the banosh. We shared 3 desserts, the poppyseed cake, the sorbet and the custard- all delicious. The drinks we had were all good , we especially enjoyed the shot of horseradish vodka and the red Armenian wine. To sum it up- a wonderful place to try new tastes of traditional food with wonderful service! Bravo!

So delicious! We tried nearly everything on the menu and there wasn’t a dish we wouldn’t order again. Thanks for a spectacular and unique night.

Loved the ambience and the staff and service were wonderful! We tried the olives, the trout roe, the egg and the carrots. The trout roe and the olives are a standout but everything was delicious. We shared the warm borsch which was so satisfying. We also ordered the noodle truffle (outstanding) the stuffed cabbage and potato pancakes. My mom made potato pancakes that spoiled me for life so those were not my favorite but everything else was amazing! I think we over ordered for 2 people but we really wanted to try so many things, so our check was high but I will be back and definitely recommend!🎯

Very satisfied with our meal and drinks! One of the better meals we have had while out in awhile. Highly recommend!

Outstanding meal. Every dish was perfectly executed. The space is a vibe and staff was awesome. Don’t miss the trout roe and ribs. And dessert. We are still thinking about the meal days later and can’t wait to return. Michelin ⭐️ is in their future.
