A staple of the Park Cities Community, Amore' began with humble beginnings in 1983 with a vision to serve the community with the freshest quality ingredients, satisfying ambience, and the impeccable customer service expected by the thriving community. Owned and operated by local small business owners for the last 40 years, we are so proud of the traditions and welcoming staff.
We welcome you to visit our traditional Italian restaurant located at the north end of historic Snider Plaza - otherwise known as Downtown University Park - at the corner of Westminster and Snider Plaza. Order ahead and pick up hot meals to-go or call and arrange for take-and-bake options! Amore is proud to sponsor numerous community endeavors as well as servicing neighboring businesses for lunches, corporate meetings and events.

Amore is one of our neighborhood favorites. My caesar salad was delish with my chicken marsala. My husband are the entire lasagna. Everything is delish!

We love everything about Amore. The atmosphere is cozy and wonderful on a chilly or rainy night, the food is delicious, service great, not too loud so you can actually have a conversation and is an overall good value. It's the perfect little neighborhood spot for a casual date-night or dinner with another couple.

Service was spotty - slow, wine bottle is not what we ordered, asked for medium salmon and got well done. This is not the same as it used to be which is sad!

Reservation. Seated immediately. Restaurant full but not over-full, hope you get that. Great personal service. Food was a little under heated. Not typical, but happened this time. It was a custom dish, probably threw them off a bit. Definitely recommend.

The appetizer was served cold. The bread basket was warmed over. The entree had the appearance and taste of hospital food, certainly not chef prepared. Two people for lunch - $60 - expected so much better. The side salad was good, though.

Dinner for four of us. Our drinks were brought out in 3 trips to the table. Three out of the four dishes were fine but the chicken aristocrat was so oily I couldn’t tell the chicken from the eggplant. I mentioned it to management. They offered me something else. When I declined, they thankfully removed the dinner off our bill. Service was ok but our dinners came before we were even halfway through our salads. Our garlic bread appetizer came after our dinner was delivered. If we knew bread came with the meal, we would not have ordered garlic for an appetizer. Service was very choppy. They were obviously waiting for us to leave at the end of our meal so they could reseat it.
