The Levant is the place where the sun rises, geographically it covers the region bordering the eastern Mediterranean Sea. This region hosted a vast variety of cultures through history creating what is now known as the Levantine Cuisine which is the specialty of Ammatoli.

AMMATOLI is distinctive and extraordinarily fresh and healthy. We use only the finest quality ingredients, honoring the traditional recipes and exotic flavors from the cuisines of the Levant... and served in a warm and welcoming ambiance!

Our Mediterranean influenced kitchen gains inspiration from the best cuisine the Levant has to offer. Our fresh creative menu items are always made from scratch. The result is a cuisine that is tasty and exotic. Levantine food is the epitome of the Mediterranean diet, healthy food, high on vegetables and big on flavor!

    This is our first time in L.A. and our first visit to this restaurant. I simply can’t overstate how wonderful an experience we had. We’re a family of 5 with 3 children 12 and under. The Family Feast (?) option was amazing. It allowed us to try a number of different things. We had more than enough food for all of us. And what food! Fresh, authentic, lovingly and artfully prepared. The atmosphere is amazing, the service was kind and attentive. This is simply a gem of a restaurant.

    Ammatoli is a great restaurant. It is a beautiful space to dine in and the staff are very attentive. The food is AMAZING! I recently dined there with a group of six and everyone was happy with what they ordered. The flat bread is out of this world! I crave it every day.

    I’ll keep this review short- service was slow and lacking; food was okay but you could get better value elsewhere. Don’t believe the hype.

    As a guest of Ammatoli since it opened, I have loved every change and upgrade made, but last night, I was super surprised about some of the changes to the menu. They no longer have dinners where you get rice, salad and a dip. It's more a la carte. I can see this being fine when you have a larger party, but for two people, it seemed a bit hard to get the full experience of what Ammatoli had to offer without ordered too little or too much food with a party less than 4 or more. I will return, but it seems the value has changed quite a bit with these recent menu modifications and much harder to enjoy an intimate meal without having to buy more than you would have before to get a full meal.
