Whilst the QR code system was malfunctioning, the hosts made sure that we were looked after! It was fairly busy given it was Taco Tuesday, but the meals and drinks came out with if a reasonable time. Food was excellent as per usual, none of us left any on our plates. Meals are big enough to share and the cocktails were great, so the value is good! Will come again.

Enjoyed my Mother’s Day lunch here. Even though the place was busy food came out very quickly and was amazing. Complimentary Prosecco for me and my casa margarita was the best I’ve ever had. So was the churros

Our work team had a great experience at Amigo's Wollongong. Friendly service. Great food - and plenty of it. Reasonable prices - for the 7 of us it was only $338 (not including alcohol). We had 6 dips, 24 chicken wings and 12 poppers to start. Everyone also ordered their own individual meal. Highly recommended.

Service wasn't great - when food was served and there wasn't enough room on the table for the plates it was our problem to work out what to do. No staff available to order another round of drinks and some food was cold. It was also cold inside the restaurant so no-one took jackets off. Have enjoyed this place in the past so maybe we got a bad night.

Amigos is not as good as it was a few years ago. The service from our waiter was terrible… no smiling, no welcoming personality. Got on of our orders wrong… she had to wait a long time for correct food … overall was disappointing

rude worker, had to ask for cutlery twice and the second time was only brought out a single fork, wrong drink brought out, no table water also had to ask twice for this and received as we were finishing our dry, old tasting food. 1/5

Tortillas were ice cold which made the taco filling cold as well. Disappointing as the meat and filling in the tacos was nice but it needs to be hotter. Please warm up tortillas before serving

Consistently good. Been dining here every Tuesday since December. Great Tacos, very tasty and good value. $5 Tacos, $10 Margs and $4 beer.

The wait staff wasn’t knowledgeable on the menu at all. Had to ask multiple times to order drinks. Food was extremely bland and disappointing. When leaving wasn’t asked how everything was, no Thankyou for coming or payment, quite embarrassing really. This restaurant used to be amazing the service, food and drinks. Unfortunately, we now wouldn’t recommend not be back.

Always love coming to amigos but first time dining in Wollongong Food was amazing Drinks where great It was incredibly hot inside and made us feel uncomfortable Food service was quick but drinks took an awful long time almost waited 30min for 4 shots Over all it was good

I did not receive my meal and had to ask for a refund. I have not yet received the refund. Though I paid through QR code on the table and did not use the service of any wait staff I had to pay both a service fee and a 'weekend surcharge' which seemed unbelievable, I'm not asking for delivery through menulog and it's not a public holiday? Drinks were good, ambience very good at the table we had, others looked a bit squashed in corners though. Sadly no I would not go back.

Ordered our meals gave wrong meal, we couldn’t swap or wait as we had a show to go to, they offered to take if the 10% weekend surcharge… we didn’t even touch the wrong meal so I’m the end they removed… Won’t be back anytime soon

Food is great but the mains arrived at the same time as the entrees. We only ordered 2 dips as entrees so it shouldn’t have been that hard. Wife’s meal arrived with no Roja sauce despite it saying it on the menu. Only had 1 beverage each from the bar as no wait staff came and asked us if we wanted more drinks. We got engaged in the restaurant 31 years ago and go back for Valentine’s Day and our wedding anniversary every year and it’s disappointed to see how much the service has slipped in the last 3 years.

We were served quickly and the food came out incredibly fast. Food was tasty and all very well cooked and prepared. However, the corn chips were burnt, my coca cola was forgotten, and the small room we were in was so packed full of people that you couldn’t hear the people you were seated with without having to yell at each other

Our food took forever to come out and when it did half of our meals were missing. We cancelled half our meals and had to have dinner somewhere else. We have been coming to Amigos for over 10 years but unfortunately will not be returning

I have come to Amigos the last five weeks for Taco Tuesday. Great food, great service and great value. Can be noisy some times and was very noisy on my last visit from one table.

The service staff are very rude. The people at the front counter are lovely tho. Food was very poor and changed so much. All our food came out at once which we had no idea was going to happen, we asked them to just to bring the entree out and keep the mains back. I wouldn’t go back

Great food with generous serving sizes. Great atmosphere. Good place to take the family and friends. We went with young children and they were catered for very well. Will definitely be going back!
