    We love Amigos. Wing Wednesday is our favourite night. And if you can’t eat it all you are provided with a container without issue! And the service is fast, efficient and friendly!

    Entree was served literally the second we ordered. Orders a main meal and the salad/wraps came out about 5 minutes later and we waited another 30 minutes for the meat. I feel the chef forgot the meat , as a couple who sat down 20 minutes after us got there whole meat and salads before us.

    Service was fantastic. Soon as we got into the restaurant we were seated. They are both table and then quickly asked if we would like drinks, customer service was fantastic meal was exceptional, but the price of meals is very high compared to other Mexican restaurants around the Illawarra, which makes it tough for a family of 5 to be able to go out and support small business as it is getting too expensive to go out for dinner these days Overall experience was good and we would come back again once we can afford to

    Fried jalapeño and 2 dip entree was very good. Fajitas - prawn, fish and chorizo were great, the shredded beef was a bit bland. Tacos - The baja tacos were well received, as were the crispy pork tacos. The birria tacos were a little disappointing and don’t come with any salad-type extras. As seems to be the norm in Australia, it wasn’t cheap like it is in the US, about $40 per head plus drinks. The portions were good, however. Service was OK. A margarita got delivered to my 13yo instead of me, as he was expecting a mocktail. As it was hard to hear the waitress we initially didn’t realise what it was but got sorted before he drank any. :) The table was running out of real estate as the entrées hadn’t been cleared before the mains arrived. Overall a nice dinner and will come back.

    Food was terrible and cold. Sloppy, soggy, wet mexican is not tasty. There were only 2 of us and one persons meal came out 20 minutes before the other. That is really terrible planning of the kitchen. You understand slight difference but not that much when it’s a table if 2. When asked the waitress was wonderful but it was Cleary kitchen issues. The floor staff were very accommodating but they can only do so much. When my dish finally arrived the lettuce on my dish was the brownest lettuce I’ve seen. I politely asked the waitress to ask the kitchen staff would they eat this when the lettuce was so brown and asked for some fresh lettuce. The kitchen sent the same brown lettuce out on a new tray. The waitress was so kind and brought me some coleslaw instead as she was embarrassed by the food sent out. We used to dine here all the time and it was alway a busy but it’s a ghost town now and we can clearly see why. The manager even came to our table and cleared our drinks but not once enquired or apologised. I really think they need to pick up their game in the kitchen and an empty restaurant is a clear indication that it’s gone down hill.

    We love Shellharbour Amigoes! The staff are always fantastic and the food is amazing! Taco Tuesday’s are well worth the visit!

    The food was expensive and basically all rearrangement of five or six basic things e.g fresh tortilla, baked tortilla, tortilla bowl, fried tortilla. Everything comes with the same rice, salad, sour cream and guacamole. There was no service really, there is a QR code on the table to order and then if you do that separately the food all comes at different times.

    Great view from the windows seats. Service was great, food was fantastic and good value for money. The fajitas (for one) were more than enough to share (between 2) with a couple of extra tortillas. Will definitely be back!

    I haven't dined in at amigos for over a year and it was the best night for myself, sister and our kids, beautiful staff as always... food excellent and prices are great! My son absolutely loves wing Wednesday.
