Bitterly disappointed with the QR code ordering that’s been suspended. Not having those awkward bill splitting discussion was one of the reasons we loved this restaurant and frequented it in large groups. This sends a clear message that the customer’s convenience is not a priority. The sad part is, that waiters were still running around with plates of food, not knowing which table it needs to go to. It will no longer be our first choice for group events, unfortunately…

The food was okay. The service was nice. But the value for money is terrible. I went with my wife and two kids (under 10) with a $100 gift voucher in my hand, thinking it would cover most of our bill. The previous weekend we got a Guzman & Gomez takeaway - We got similar amounts of food (more - as this time included my 21year old stepdaughter), the food was far tastier and it only cost $67. Our bill at Amigos came to over $180 - if we take off $37 for the bottle of wine - the food cost us about $140... i.e. nearly twice the price. The thing that galls me most is that you only receive 1 smallish plate of cornchips to accompany two dips. Even if you pile as much as you can onto every chip, you will still be left with at least half of the dip with nothing to dip into it - I had assumed they would top up the cornchips - but no... they'll charge you if you ask for more. Ridiculous.

We love Amigos. Wing Wednesday is our favourite night. And if you can’t eat it all you are provided with a container without issue! And the service is fast, efficient and friendly!

Entree was served literally the second we ordered. Orders a main meal and the salad/wraps came out about 5 minutes later and we waited another 30 minutes for the meat. I feel the chef forgot the meat , as a couple who sat down 20 minutes after us got there whole meat and salads before us.

Service was fantastic. Soon as we got into the restaurant we were seated. They are both table and then quickly asked if we would like drinks, customer service was fantastic meal was exceptional, but the price of meals is very high compared to other Mexican restaurants around the Illawarra, which makes it tough for a family of 5 to be able to go out and support small business as it is getting too expensive to go out for dinner these days Overall experience was good and we would come back again once we can afford to
