We went to this restaurant for dinner based on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we came away from it very pleased. The food was both delicious and well presented. The service was outstanding and the patio dining with a view of the lake was delightful. If I had any one thing to balk at, it would be the cost. It seems a bit high but then again, that seems to be the case everywhere at the moment. We had a fantastic experience and hope to return again, maybe for brunch next time.

It was a Mother’s Day brunch with a limited menu. Had to wait 40 minutes for a table in an annex room with a very noisy group. Waitress was slow and stretched. Food was meh. I’ve been to this place nearly a dozen times and always enjoyed it. Mother’s Day was a disaster. Best to go at off peak times

Expensive but excellent -- so not somewhere you go every day. Their brunch offerings are just out of this world - recently had a smoked salmon croissant sandwich -- perfect! Wife had eggs benedict -- always a good choice. Unlimited mimossas and bloody marys get you ready for an afternoon nap!

Server sometimes was no where to be found. I told her we were celebrating my friend’s birthday and had to remind her since dessert was brought with no candle. Loved the food except for my salmon burger.

I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday lunch. I ordered the salmon burger which was very thick and absolutely delicious!!! My girlfriend ordered an Asian salad with salmon. The salmon was a dinner portion and cooked to perfection. Also, the service was impeccable. I will definitely come back again.

The house salad was excellent, the main course was also very flavorful ! 5 PM seating not very busy so great for conversations. The huge negative was the waitress - she was awful. Water glass empty for extended period of time, and after my salad was delivered I had to yell to get her attention because she was too busy BS with the bartender then to take care of her customer- The salad dressing was not on the side like requested. The restaurant should replace this waitress, she was lazy and not attentive; not up to the quality of this restaurant. Didn't get her name, but she had big false black eyelashes, big dark hair and appeared asian or a mix.

When the reservation was made I listed outdoor dining. When we got there on time we were told there were no seats available outside- however there were several tables we saw available. The Hostess said there were waiting for a group of 4 to come in when I pointed to one table, however several minutes after we were seated inside, a group of two came in and were seated immediately on the outdoor patio. They were served immediately with beverages. We also were a group of two. The waiter didn’t come over to us for at least 20 minutes to take only our beverage order. Very disappointing experience overall- even with a reservation.

Extremely nice staff. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was very American, hence the name. Wanted outdoor seating, but was concerned about the bugs especially when the outdoor light are turned on at night

Wonderful "at home" feel. Staff very attentive and welcoming. Food perfectly cooked and VERY tasty. I'd recommend this restaurant to everybody! And we'll go back often.

It is a very pretty place , ambiance is very romantic chic , it took about an hour for food. Everyone was nice , others -very loud talkative people - extremely loud - but you can't help that. Servers were great. Food not so much.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I hope after the restaurant reads this review, they will make some changes. I’ve gone here before, and had a nice experience, but this time the food and the service were subpar. Their door kept banging to the outside constantly. When I asked them to please place a napkin or something in the door, so it didn’t constantly bang. They just looked at me with a blank stare. The burger came out raw. We sent it back. Sorry I won’t be visiting this establishment again.

My son and I ordered Thai salad with chicken The chicken was extremely dry, salad was lacking in taste. The setting is lovely. I had fixed menu on Christmas Eve at Americano we all felt it was overpriced and the food was just ok.

For an American restaurant, there are a good portion of Italian entrees on the menu. We took advantage of that and enjoyed a mushroom risotto with half-lobster add on (conveniently shelled), and the Hubster had lobster linguini (his lobster halves were bigger than mine). He also ordered the vanilla bean creme brulee, which was truly special, This was a delightful meal, although I would not call it five-star. In a town like Vegas, getting five stars from this reviewer requires some over-the-top culinary antics. The setting is lovely, with outdoor seating beside an unexpected lake. We will return often, as we live nearby. We greatly appreciate having such a lovely restaurant with very good food in Summerlin.

We had out of town guests and could’ve gone anywhere for lunch, but i talked up Americana Las Vegas and they Uber out to Desert Shores. The service was not good. No one was friendly, and the food was cold and mediocre. I was terribly embarrassed for their experience.

Love the Harvest menu but the petite ribeye was disappointing. It was more gristle &fat than meat. Hope we can see better quality in the future. All other menu items have been excellent in comparison. Thanks

Loved this restaurant so much. Celebrated our 25th year wedding anniversary here. We had a table right next to the window inside as it was too cold to sit outside. Would be great if they added heaters outside. The view was amazing as the sun was going down. The food and service were excellent.

Have eaten at Americana many times and it is consistently fabulous. The Harvest pre fix menu is absolutely the greatest deal in town. Very relaxing with lake view and outdoor eating in the spring and summer

Seated next to window overlooking the lake. Service was a little slow as they only had a few waiters. House wine was very good. The foi gras was grilled and excellently prepared. The grilled octopus was tender but fishy and dry. The steak Diane prepared at bedside was very tasty and smelled delicious. The ribeye steak was dry and overcooked with a gas grill taste. We had to send it back. The birthday cake was presented well but quite disappointing in taste. Overall, a nice experience and ambience but the food left much to be desired.

Started out great. Then as we waited for our food it too 1hr to get. My steak was overcooked and made well done. Didn’t complain or ask to change since it took an hour for the meal already. Once we got the check she didn’t provide us with a pen. Overall bad experience, I expect better from a place like this.

Food - The 4 shrimp appetizer, ribeye, and salmon were all very good. The potatoes and vegetables that came with the steak were below average and cold. The mushrooms medley side dish was average. Drinks - one blackberry cocktail from the cocktail menu, not balanced at all. Disappointing. Iced tea was delicious. Service - very good service. Clean silverware given after each course. Table crumbed between courses. Friendly and authentic personalities. However, entrees took extremely long to come out. That could be on the kitchen. Ambiance - very good. Overall - good, but not great. If side dishes and cocktails were better that would make a big difference. And nobody likes waiting too long for their entree.
