Very quiet restaurant on a wild & wet & windy Saturday night, there were only 2 other diners! The food was excellent - calamari, mozzerella, pizzas & pasta - and served quickly. Waiting staff were pleasant but obviously a bit bored. The premises were nicely furnished, clean & bright . It is on the tram & bus lines out of town towards the airport & we could imagine that it would be a great place for after rugby at Murrayfield too. We hope people get to hear about it as the food was good & not too pricey.

Hidden west end gem… very good value too! I only criticised the ambience giving it 4 stars as the place was almost empty when we visited. Our pizzas and calamari fritti was excellent though and the staff were very friendly

Food and service was good, drinks were good, the restaurant is located inside a hotel and it was just completely empty, not a lot of atmosphere but other than that couldn't fault it

Booked Amalfino last minute for NY dinner and even though it was quiet, I believe this is truly a hidden gem. The food was spectacular, best pizza we have ever had. The service was also great. I would highly recommend and will be back.

We booked last minute for dinner after a rugby match. Despite showing up almost half an hour early we were seated immediately. Service was fantastic even though our server was juggling diners and the influx of people at the bar who had come in for a drink. Granted the restaurant was not busy but the bar was. All of the food was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Portions are generous. Overall a great experience and I would not hesitate to book again.

Waited 45 minutes for drinks, took the food order ourselves and then served ourselves the drinks from bar to table because the staff couldn’t cope. Absolute chaos behind the bar with drinks being poured down the sink and their own staff talking badly about the place. Not enough pizza dough despite the ‘pizza and a pint’ deal, and then the pasta wasn’t cooked through and was the worst carbonara I’ve ever had. Food all served at different times. They did heavily discount the bill. Will not be back.

Service was atrocious. Food delivered wasn’t what was ordered. Had to get own cutlery. Drinks not delivered- had to go to bar to get. No alcohol free beer available. Overall a total shambles. This establishment should be removed from your list

The food was pretty good and the service staff worked really hard to give us a good experience. However they were very under resourced and it showed. It’s a new restaurant so willing to give it another go in a few months. The server and the host were handling multiple tables on their own so kudos for keeping it going but they will need to up their game.
