We had a really nice celebration for Mother's Day. We had a reservation, but still had to wait about 20 minutes for our table despite the restaurant not being very crowded. Service was attentive and she gave us good recommendations. Guacamole, pineapple margarita, and camarones entree were all fantastic. Will definitely eat here again.

Starting with the positives! I made a reservation for Mother’s Day about two weeks ago. Due to my mother’s limited mobility, I’d specifically requested a a table with easy access. This was accommodated with no issue. The space itself was very well decorated fun, colorful, and had a great vibe. The music was on theme and perfect volume. Our server Taylor was very attentive and came to check on us frequently. One of the two cocktails ordered was well prepared and the ceviche was delicious! Onto the negatives. We arrived after getting a bit lost. There was limited signage at Newport and the space was tucked in a closed off corridor. We did find it and were seated quickly. We placed an order for two cocktails and an appetizer. One of the two cocktails was unable to be fulfilled. Our server recommended another which was accepted, then she returned to state that it needed to be altered, rather than a blended beverage it was over the rocks but this was no biggie. Drinks were great. Shortly after we gave our entrées order (spoiler: we never received them after almost 1 hour of waiting) ate our app which came quickly and got another drink. After about 30 minutes, no food, the comped two of our drinks and apologized for the wait which was due to a kitchen error but would be out shortly. We were by the kitchen and the entire time saw several plates come and go as well as many parties that arrived after us but got their food and left before with ease. 5-10 minutes later someone I assume to be the manager asked how things were. We said that the appetizer was delicious but had not received food yet. His response was that they were very busy, but the food would be hot when it came out. Mom and I waited another 15 minutes WITH NO FOOD or update from the staff before I asked for the check to leave. This was a bad experience. From the long wait to the manager’s seeming indifference about our wait time. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know.

We went on Mother’s Day, it was a gorgeous day and we sat outside. Draven was our waiter and very attentive. The luchon asado was divine, along with the ceviche 😋 Love their coffee too! Highly recommend!

“driest tamale I’ve ever had” “Got my order wrong and food was mid” White Russian was clumpy. They brought another and it was no better. Disappointing. Cuba libre was good. Kind of expensive. Server was nice but too busy to help us. Music was good but we were seated right next to the band so it was loud.

They were out of a bunch of alcohol: wine, liquors, mixers. Waitress came back to us 4 times saying we were out of every next drink we had to choose. Crazy. Food took forever to come out and we were literally the only party in the restaurant. Had to leave before ordering dinner because it was so brutal.

This is not authentic Cuban food. I recommend to try the Cuban sandwich and croquetas, nothing else.

Delicious food and drinks, great vibes, good service, and not crazy overpriced like so many other options! Live music was icing on the cake. Highly recommend for an elevated casual meal or a special occassion.

I was slightly impressed with this restaurant. As a Latino, I love Cuban food and I eat it whenever I visit Little Havana in Miami. I ordered the Lechon Asado and it was so dry. I was eating shredded pork not moist to the Lechon Asado I grew up eating. The chicharron I was provided was pork rind I bought at Kroger. The cortadito was okay. The waitress asked me what that and I told her it was on the menu smh. After finishing my meal, the waitress asked me on several occasions do you want the check? My wife and I were getting the impression that she was rushing me out of the restaurant and the restaurant was slightly empty. The food is too over-priced for the quantity and quality.

You enter a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous river views. On Saturday they have a great band playing background music. The food unfortunately did not live up to the environment. The empanada tasted like old bad oil, they did take it off of my bill. Guacamole was good but the plantain chips were stale and hard. The beef taco was excellent. Friends had the steak dinner and liked the steak but said the rice and beans was not good. The mojitos were delicious- I had 2! I would go back, but just lean toward tacos and guacamole. Our bill was completely messed up and it took about 25 minutes to finalize.

We came for the Cubano which my husband and I both love when it is on the menu. This one was ok. Kind of dry. Would not recommend, but the location, the service and other items on the menu I would definitely return.

Our second time here since it opened. Had a much improved experience since the opening week, understandably so. Our server was excellent, as were the cocktails. The dishes were mostly very good. However, my lechon main felt a little too simple and lacked any sauce or flavor components. Looking forward to our next visit.

Mambo band was perfect. Mojito is the city's best. Great Cuban ambience with a view of the city that is spectacular. I had the shrimp which was tasty but the rice was too dry. I would have liked a moister rice or an added sauce. The sandwiches were the best!

The food was incredible! I can't remember the last time I was so impressed with my meal. The ambiance was lovely, too, as was the live music. We had a great girls night out. We will definitely be back.

The service & food was great. However, there was a band that that was extremely loud! We requested a table away from the music but it was still very loud and distracting.
