Our reservation was at 10. There were a number of empty tables, and we were seated quickly. It took some time however for our table to be attended. There was a table across from us that placed their order just after we were seated, were served their order, paid and left before we received our order…at 11:15! Our server was very nice, but we eventually wondered if perhaps either she, or the the kitchen misplaced our order. At one time, shortly before 11, our server indicated our order was being “plated” and we would be served next. However, we saw several plates delivered to other tables after that. About 10 minutes later, we enquired when we would receive our meal, and were told, again, it was being plated and would be about 5 minutes. Ambience was lovely, food good, but the service disappointing. Not sure if we will go again. Would recommend to friends, with the caveat……..don’t go hungry.

An absolutely outstanding date night with out my wife for an early Mother’s Day celebration. The food, the service and the overall value was exceptional. Highly recommend giving it a try.

It was a wonderful brunch and our server was amazing, I even accidentally knocked over my glass of water and she helped me clean it up right away, told me not to worry about it even though I was extremely embarrassed. Our server was lovely and food was excellent! One of my favourite spots on the island to go!

Everything was outstanding during our brunch at Alpina Restaurant. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was delicious, and you can't beat the view of the Saanich Inlet.

Yes cameron our server was amazing. His food suggestion was spot on. And the food we love it so much(shout out to the bread) plus that killer view. It was an amazing experience for me and my wife. Our anniversary celebration was perfect. Thank you so much. Definitely recomending it to my friends when they are in the island

Wonderful setting ! We enjoyed the spectacular view with our delicious lunch. The wine menu was confusing and we misread the prices and unfortunately, made the mistake of ordering a $47 glass of Burrowing Owl…..we were ordering from the top of the wine list thinking we were getting 9 oz of Burrowing owl Pinot grid was going to be $19! Other than that misunderstanding, it was excellent!

We had a lovely birthday brunch on Sunday morning and though it was a rainy day the view was still spectacular! The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. I would have given the food a 5 star rating instead of 4 star if my omelet had been accompanied with toast. I miss my breakfast toast! I probably could have ordered a side of toast but the omelet was filling and I didn't need anything more. I will be back.

Beautiful view and great service. But the food took 1 hour to be served- do not recommend if you are going with a child. But overall a beautiful location and view.

Food was excellent and the view was superb. Honestly service was very slow. Server was nice but everything from cocktails to food to the bill took a very long time.

A very enjoyable brunch at Alpina Restaurant. It was a gorgeous, sunny day so we really had an opportunity to enjoy the stunning views. And the food was just excellent. We were a group of 5, all who chose a different option and a variety of drinks, and everyone's meal was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We will be back!

No handicap parking. No view, it was raining. Got lost as signing was not good. Meals OK. Needed more zing. Dessert was so-so. Apple Strudel had too many additions to it. Too many tastes. Plain apples, Strudel pastry and vanilla ice cream would have sufficed. Service was outstanding. Appreciated complimentary truffles to celebrate our 66th anniversary.

The food was fabulous! We had dinner and breakfast! My eggs were cooked perfectly! The flavour of the ravioli was unforgettable! Our server Kayla was excellent. We have a few food restrictions (dairy free, Gluten free and vegetarian) and they were able to accommodate without incident including a delicious vegan dessert for my dining companion. Great non-alcohol wine choices too. Lovely views.

Food was very good. Service was also very good. We waited a bit longer than expected but it was busy and we were in no rush so all was fine. The table we were given was very crowded and lacked a view, which was disappointing given we made the reservation well in advance

The food was outstanding, the views stunning, and most of the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately our server did not appear to be in a rush to serve us or share the same demeanour as their coworkers and although I had reserved seating for a birthday dinner and was offered “prime viewing seating” when I reserved, we were offered - choice of one of two tables off to the side of the prime viewing sitting areas. However, this would not dissuade our desire to return to Villa Eyrie as it is a beautiful accommodation with some of the best views (IMO) on a clear day, amazing food and some really incredible staff!

We absolutely loved the hostess Crystal and our server Taylor! Amazing service with excellent brunch menu. It has always been pleasant visit every time we go. They also have wonderful selection of cocktails and great coffee! And the view ! Incredible!

Nice sized portions, 4 different meals, all delicious. From prawn Linguine, mushroom ravioli, steak and frites, Snitzel, for shared desserts, Apple strudel, gelato. All fantastic.

Our sever Kayla was excellent with food recommendations and wine pairings. We celebrated a milestone birthday at the best table in the house! The staff here go above and beyond always. The fresh beet salad carpaccio was delicious! I enjoyed the mushroom ravioli - the flavour in this dish was beyond what your traditional pasta expectation would be. Jagersnitzle was a favorite with the mushroom sauce and the Alpine Burger was tasty! Kudos to the chef. Thank-you to our bartender who is an amazing mixologist - makes the best old fashioned on the island - hands down! We have celebrated almost every special occasion here in the past 5 yrs and it never disappoints, the breath taking view makes you feel like you are just someplace else. Thank-you!

It was our first time here, we had a reso so we got walked right to our table. We had such a great veiw. Got served right away. We got brunch and the food was delicious. Good price for what we got severed. Would highly recommend this place. We can’t wait to go back and spend the night!

The restaurant food was quite good, especially for the price. Ordered the duck breast and jager schnitzel. Ginger honey duck had quite a nice balanced delicate taste, and the schnitzel was perfect.
