In a distant European city, Fabian and Miriam vanished into the Alps, trading their city lives for mountain solitude. Once busy young professionals, their days were consumed by demanding careers, their rare weekends cherished for dining out and dancing, occasionally venturing into the mountains.

But destiny intervened when Miriam inherited her grandfather's Alpine hut, nestled amidst the rustic charms of the mountains. They cut ties with the city, forsaking it for good. Days were spent farming, foraging, crafting cheese, and making wine. Nights brought cooking, baking, wine-drinking, and stargazing.

Friends from the city visited, but Fabian and Miriam never looked back. They were drawn deeper into the mountains, caught in the Alpenrausch's dual meaning—the exhilaration of mountain air and the intoxication of good company, fine wine, and schnapps.

We have been trying to get here for months. So glad we finally made it happen. One of the best martinis I’ve had out in ages and outstanding tartare. My husband could not stop raving about the house salad. I mean when does that happen. Our mains were delicious and we can’t wait to come back with more people for the fondue. Lovely, warm service. Thank you for a perfect evening.

The restaurant was very cute and we got to sit by the fireplace. Great for a date night! The food was fantastic, highly recommend the venison.

The food was okay. My family and I were disappointed in the very small portion of sausage on the fondue plate. It arrived with one sausage to share with three people. The menu indicated the fondue served 2-3. Also the sausage portion on the sausage board seemed very small. If you like potatoes, there are way too many served with these two dishes. The food tasted ikay yet was overpriced for the value. The carrot salad was bland

The food was mediocre. I would definitely avoid the fondue. It not smooth at all and very stringy. The cheese plate was okay, but had almost as much rind as cheese. Waiter was friendly, but did not check back to see if we wanted a second round of drinks. Overall, it was not terrible, but I would not go back.

Wonderful food. The music was one to two notches too high. Those with hearing deficits had trouble with the conversation.

This was a pleasant surprise. In the space of the former Olympia Provisions, Alpenrausch has leaned heavily into Swiss style food, notably fondue. We were a party of five and ordered an appetizer or salad each plus the large fondue. It offered plenty to eat in a nice variety of meat, veggies grilled and pickled, and apple slices. Service was good, setting a bit picnic style for the total feel, but kinda gave the impression of a chalet somewhere on a Swiss hillside. We really enjoyed the whole experience.

Our server, Hunter, was absolutely delightful. And the food and wine were superb. This was a last-minute decision that we’re SO happy with, and we will surely be back to try all the other menu items! Just great.

I went with medium expectations but was blown away by the food, and especially by the attentive and helpful service, particularly from Lauren, the sommelier, who spent time with us to help us choose two great wines for our meal. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

Super cute place. Staff was very nice although somewhat unfamiliar with drink menu. The food was interesting. Some things that were basic, were great. Out of the ordinary things were not to my liking. Maybe that is on me. Overall a cool place. Was worth trying.

We went (5 of us) to celebrate 2 birthdays. My son and his wife had recently been to Switzerland, so it was a chance to revisit fond food memories. We shared the large fondue, then each ordered what we wanted. Fondue is always fun, and this one had delicious accompaniments. Our individual dishes were also excellent — artichoke soup, burger & fries, schnitzel. Ambiance was very pleasant, and with our table in the corner against a wall, it was perfect for conversation. Excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!

This lunch was out of this world. I brought my parents from Taiwan and they were so impressed. Our server and bartender was excellent-knowledgeable & kind. It was an amazing experience. Can’t wait to come back.

Had an amazing lunch! Mushroom soup, salads, frankfurter were all excellent, and the potato croquettes were to die for. Desserts were good, too. This is a hidden gem, with cute Alpine decor and great wait staff! A big thumbs up!

Very enjoyable experience. Cozy atmosphere. Flavorful, hearty dishes (we had the Raclette, tartare, schnitzel, trout and Kaisekranner). Unique wines and an extensive spirits list. Good service, we had a friendly conversation with the manager.

Take a trip to the Alps without the hassle of airline tickets! Fabian and Miriam know how to present authentic food of the region. Our table of four was delighted with everything we tried! The ambience is spot on and the service was cheerful and welcoming. We will be back again soon. Thank you!

Our first visit and it will not be our last. It was wonderful. We felt the spaetzle was a bit salty but still yummy.

Super pleased with our food and service! Fondue, trout, escargot, schnitzel and drinks were very well received! Our service was nice paced, friendly and helpful. Visually the ambiance is very nice and you can tell that thought went into decorative touches and comfort. The acoustics were a little off. The primary issue is background music that bounces off the concrete floor… all you can hear is a drone of bass. I hope they will realize this and make adjustments to the EQ or whatever will fix that. All in all we were really happy with the evening! Will return for sure.

Service and food were exceptionally good. Tables were way too close together. Had an obnoxious pompous guy at a table of 4 next to us who talked loudly about himself the whole evening. If my husband, who wears hearing aids had been there, he would have had a hard time hearing our conversation😞

The food and service were wonderful. We were seated near the door so were kind of cold, but that was a very minor issue in our overall experience. I recommend this restaurant!

Love this new concept from Olympia Provisions! Alterations to the inside dining room create a charming and cozy alpine cabin feel. Additional outside covered patio tables were well heated and buzzing. Menu offers something for everyone. We (2 ppl) were super famished and split 3 apps (smoked trout, pretzel and mushroom soup) and then split 2 entrees (pork schnitzel and ricotta dumplings); we had leftovers to take home. Table next to us shared fondue and said it was delicious. Very robust cocktail, wine & beer menu, incl a lot of zero proof concoctions. Service was particularly excellent. About 8 off street parking spots in front. Recommend reserving ahead—it was busy and walk-ins had a bit of a wait. En guete!

Everything was delicious, though 4 of us ordered two menu items that each serve two. It was hard to share, which was weird since it was supposed to be shared. Someone in the kitchen isn't using their thinking caps when plating fondue or sausage for 2. We have been seated in the inside section and it was very loud, this time we asked for outside. It was less noisy, though tables are close together and we heard way more awkward first date conversation from the couple seated next to us than we would have chosen. Ambience is hard when cars are backing up to the covered portion. very nerve wracking.

Good service - food not great. Mushroom soup was good. Duck under seasoned with minimal sauce. Kale/beet salad and few beets and inedible kale. My friend enjoyed the chocolate dessert.

I booked a table for outside and didn't know at the time. It was very windy and cold. The staff moved tables to accommodate us and even gave us a dessert. The food was delicious, as was the wine. Service amazing. I highly recommend. The setting slightly dark (which I loved), perfectly romantic as well.

We had a great time. The service was perfect and the food was truly , truly good. We have a monthly dinner with a friend, and Alpenrausch just became a priority on the list.

Food was amazing and service was too! The only thing I didn’t necessarily like was being asked if I wanted to sit at the bar or wait for my table, I understand it was a busy day for the holiday, but if I made a reservation for a table I feel like it should make sense that I’d like a table. That might be nitpicking. Otherwise, the service was great, we were constantly being checked in on. The tables are close together, but even as a plus sized woman I never felt cramped or uncomfortable which is great. Definitely recommend, and will be going back to try the fondue next time!

Terrific menu well prepared. Good portions for the price. Decor fits very well with the theme and food. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. We'll go back!

The venison tartare was INCREDIBLE. The fondue was good but kinda underwhelming to be completely honest. Vibe was immaculate with dim lighting, a warm fireplace, and solid tunes. Service was friendly and on point. Would definitely come back to try some of the other dishes!
