Led by Alpana Singh, the youngest woman and first South Asian to conquer the Master Sommelier exam, our menu blurs the lines between food and wine, ensuring each recipe is a symphony of balance, texture, and flavor. The food at Alpana is always amazing, the service is great and knowledgeable, and the decor is wonderful. Tonight we also found out how allergy-friendly they are. Our son has a sesame allergy, and it's been very hard to find burgers with buns that have no sesame lately (bakeries have actually been adding it to recipes so they don't have to deal with the risk of cross-contamination). Not only is the brioche bun at Alpana an actual, sesame-free brioche, but our server went above and beyond to make our son feel welcome and help him understand what he could and could not eat. Very grateful for the kind and thoughtful service - we'll be back again soon!

I had three British guests for dinner at Alpana, and it could not have been more perfect. Dan our waiter was funny, kind and knowledgeable. The food was terrific and sitting at the outdoor cafe on a Sunday warm night in Chicago made it all delightful. thank you so much.

We went for Mother's Day brunch , prefix menu. Food was pre made and warmed up . Avocado toast was not crunchy (thats how u can tell it was seating there ) served super simple with no presentation of any kind . Rest what we ordered was also very avarage . Mediocre experiance .

The service and attention to our satisfaction is above 5 star! The cinnamon roll and croissants are the best anywhere. Wasn’t crazy about the entrees this time which was a surprise. They’ve been better in the past. Maybe today was an off day.

Celebrated Mothers Day, we are from out of town. Lobster Bisque was very good. I ordered the chicken marsala, it was under seasoned and over cooked. The polenta was a weird add to this dish. Green beans under seasoned. Husband had sea bass and was happy with his choice. The restaurant is really unique and the service was great.

Perfect place for Mother's Day Brunch! My mom was so thrilled to see Alpana greeting guests as they arrived! #chicagocelebritysighting The restaurant is gorgeous and the service was impeccable. Some of our dishes were a bit bland, but I'm chalking it up to a busy holiday with a prix fixe menu. Quiche was DELISH! Will definitely come back for dinner!
