Very much enjoyed the meal. The Salad Nicoise and Mussels and Frites were very generous portions and the steak was really tender, though didn't look like it. Excellent meal. Had Crepe Suzette which was very much enjoyed. Service was great. Would recommend this place

Ala carte menu. Enter lacks vegetables. My cocq a vin had goons of fat and a burnt chicken leg. My husband’s selection was much better with a tender flavorful steak. Waitress was delightful.

The nicoise and ratatouille were amazing and the cocktails so delicious. The environment makes you fell like you’re in a Paris bistro and the staff are helpful and attentive.

Alouette is very nice French bistro that has a real Parisian atmosphere. The food is delicious. We highly recommend Crepe Suzette that was one of the best we have ever tried. The staff is friendly and professional.

We had a wonderful meal here before a show. Wanita, our server, was friendly and efficient. The manager also visited the tables to check that the patrons were enjoying themselves. Great selection of happy hour dishes. And they were big! We were full, and sorry that we didn't have room for dessert. Would come back again.

Definitely one of the more unique dining spaces in Vancouver, the hotel is gorgeous and worthy of a brief walk through. We loved the escargot and lamb rack, the crème brûlée is a must. The drinks were also impressive, both hitting the mark equally for taste and presentation. Our server, Michael, was not only knowledgeable but very personable and professional. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent service right when I got in the door. It was my girl’s birthday dinner and who I believed was the manager greeted us with a happy birthday and gave us a really nice table on the 2nd floor (which I asked for). Food was fantastic (had the Coq au vin), and they even gave my girl a free dessert - Crepes Suzette which was excellent! Our waiter and supporting staff were attentive and excellent. Been a while since I had service this good in the city. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the atmosphere. I believe Casablanca was playing on the TVs at the bar. Started out with the shrimp cocktail and baked brie. The brie was so creamy and delicious. We both got the steak frites, and steak was blurry flavourful. The desserts were our favourite - the crepes Suzette (amazing with the peaches and ice cream) and the profiterole (pretty much perfection).

Both waiters and chef are Weekend Casual staff? they don't really know much about the food. Happy hours time are not too familiar and the food we ordered missing duck on the duck fries protines. the overall dining experience is not bad but if staff can be more professional, that would be great. Thank you for your attention.

The Bouillabaisse was absolutely amazing, big portion, enough for 2. We were too full for dessert. Will have to come back again to try. Our server Wanita was very helpful with the menu & drink choices.

Tragic dining experience. Booked time and date months ago but they suddenly moved it to 2.5 hours later in the evening because they wanted to book a larger party. Offered comped appies, cocktails and desserts however wouldn’t honour it when we got there. Finally comped the appies only. Sat us upstairs by ourselves so there was zero ambience. Ordered the bone marrow and it was cold. Just a terrible dining experience overall. Wouldn’t recommend.

A relatively new discovery for me, but I’ve been going there weekly for Happy Hour as it goes to 6PM! The Happy Hour House rosé wine is very nice and $6 so can’t go wrong there. All of their Happy Hour food items are an excellent value for $10-12. It’s not on the Happy Hour menu, but the beef tartare is made table side so pretty fun to order. Definitely fresh and delicious. The menu is French inspired, but still fun…. like duck poutine. The food comes out quickly and the service has been great. Definitely a nice way to end the work day!

I went for lunch during the week & showed up 30 minutes early for my reservation. It wasn’t a problem thankfully. We had bread (fresh & yummy) along with the onion tart and duck cassoulet - portions were large and the both were excellent. French Voiginier during or lunch & lattes finished the meal. Our service was very good, the ambiance was lovely and I think it’s a little gem downtown. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Light lunch with traditional French onion soup and bistro salad. Friends also ordered salads. Niçoise salad was great as well. Both were perfectly prepared with light and flavorful dressings. Easy walk walk from the convention center, set in a quote downtown location.

The restaurant was beautiful. Unfortunately this the only good thing. I ordered the Coq Au Vin. I had 1 drumstick that was dark and extremely dry. On the plate were 2 pieces of chicken breast that was moist but looked liked it was roasted chicken. It did not taste nor look like Coq ay Vin. Meal was also very salty. So very disappointing
