Long before there was a boardwalk, friends Alonzo Cothron & Berlin Felton’s original establishment was a fish house. Boats would pull up right outside and throw the fish straight in!
We’ve changed a little since then, but the most important thing remains the same - guests can still kick back and experience the freshest, locally caught seafood in one hand, a cold beverage in the other, soak in the view, and watch the world go by.

The food was great and the service was spectacular! It was a bit noisy, and I couldn’t always hear the people in my party speaking, but that’s a VERY minor quibble. We loved our experience, and we will definitely be back!

We sat at the outside patio/bar and had an amazing evening. The bartender/manager; TJ was incredibly helpful. We are planning on having our pre-wedding gathering in this incredible space. The people and food were absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to get back and visit again.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with everything. This is just our opinion on this one evening. Happy hour was fine, but the peel and eat shrimp were really hard and just didn’t taste fresh. The coconut shrimp barely had any shrimp in it. Husband did really like oysters and fries. Our waiter seemed perturbed we were there. It was really humid but the waiter didn’t seem to want to even wait on us. We ate and quickly left. Hope others have better experiences.

Generally good, but note the “clam” chowder is really “potato” chowder. Everything else was fine.

The food was delicious but way too much food. We ordered two dinners and should have ordered only one and shared.

Our waitress was having a tough time w some real jerks , in spite of that she was attentive and engaging. We really enjoyed Alonzo’s ,again , we have been several times and always good . The fact they take reservations and honor them makes it a great choice !
