At Alma Gaúcha we serve the Traditional Southern Brazilian Rodízio. The Full Rodízio Experience, our Prix Fixe Menu includes two courses, it provides the opportunity to enjoy a variety of Prime Meats including beef, chicken, pork and lamb, which we season and carefully “fire-roast” to expose the natural flavors.

Our salad bar features a variety of highest quality of selected fresh- vegetables, aged cheeses, imported cured meats, Brazilian imported hearts of palm, smoked salmon and much more.

Overall, we had a great experience. The food was fantastic. I thought the service was great however they were a bit chatty. We were trying to have a nice Mother’s Day lunch and a particular server kept coming over and striking up conversation. He was friendly, but we wanted some time for ourselves, just something to keep in mind! And I think comparable to any great restaurant in the area so I couldn’t say that it’s overpriced. The food is definitely worth it and the atmosphere is good.

I’ve been to Alma a few times now and for me besides the food, what separates them from others is their service, and not just to me but to everyone. You always see them going around to each table with a smile on their face asking how everything is, if anyone needs anything else, etc. And as for the food, for me, always consistent! And love how to add new stuff every now and then as well! Just on point, always, all around! Go and experience it - you’ll enjoy it!

David was one of the best waiters I have ever had! Fun, Charismatic and super attentive without being disruptive. The food was superb and the Gauchos were bringing the meats very often with a lot of different varieties. Place is a 10/10. Cant wait to come back ! Ask for the cheese with honey at the end.

Beautiful food with very attentive wait staff. Salad bar was plentiful and varied. The meat was delicious and we would recommend it to anyone. We were very well looked after by Jordan. Only issue was you ran out of the beer my husband wanted but not a huge issue.

It was so good our server was great! Just wish they looked a little harder at who had a green card on our table as some of them still had them even though the majority of us had finished. And I wished they told me the tea at the end wasn’t complimentary! 😂

We came here for the dine out Boston lunch. We made a reservation at 2pm but had to wait for about 30mins when we got there. We were told that the table was not ready and there were 6 groups in front of us despite there were plenty of empty tables inside… the dinning experience is quite a mixed feeling — our waiters were being very helpful and patient but the meat servers were NOT friendly at all! We were basically ignored for most of the time by them. There were many times that the meats were next to our table and the server just ignored my calls and went away. We had to ask our table waiters to place requests so that we could have the meats… Not sure what happened but this is definitely not pleasant to our dinning experience.

All the meat was flavored and everything about it was great. The meat kept on coming but not aggressively. Well paced. The salad bar had so many choices and complimented the meat. We went for restaurant week so the price was appropriate as well

Food was great. The staff was great. Only slight complaint was the meat didnt seem to be coming around st a good pace but to be fair they were slammed at lunch due to it being Dine Out Boston's last day. I will be definitely be going again and again and again.

We went here for the first time during Boston’s restaurant week and very much enjoyed the quality of food and ambiance very much. The salad bar was surprisingly good, and I thought better than Fogo de Chão.

Excellent food and a very attentive staff. This a great place to have a fun meal as the serving of the food provides a topic of conversation for your group as each person makes their choice and compares notes on their favorites. There are multiple meat choices, but also plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans so that all can have a very enjoyable experience. They also offer a good bar centered around Brazilian drinks with a good selection of wines. It’s not a cheap date as 3 of us generated a bill of $280 for dinner, but the quality of the food, drink, and service was worth the price.

EVERYTHING we ate, from the items at the salad/buffet bar to the constant offerings of different cuts of meat to the accompanying sides to the dessert, was expertly prepared as well as extremely delicious. The servers (and there were several) were uniformly helpful, friendly, and prompt. A 5 star experience on all counts !!

I have gone to a Brazilian Steak House before and was looking forward to trying this restaurant during restaurant week. We were seated immediately and restaurant week menu was explained. The "cold" station had a variety of vegetables and salads but many were without a sign saying what they were. The "hot" station had beans, rice and clam chowder which I thought odd for a Brazilian Steak House. When servers started coming to our table to cut beef for us the options included top sirloin, flank steak, bottom sirloin which were over salted and fatty. Did not try the ribs in barbecue sauce nor chicken sausage. We were never offered lamb, prk belly, chicken legs or pork sausage. All were listed on the menu. Dessert selections were key lime pie and chocolate cake. We ordered one of each to share. One of the servers came to our table with a huge piece of key lime pie and wished as a happy anniversary. When I told her it wasn't our anniversary she seemed confused and said she would have to check. When our desserts arrives they were a quarter of the size of the piece they first brought to the table. We had to ask the manager for our check.

Made reservations thru boston restaurant weeks OpenTable link to try out Alma Gaucha for the first time. We were excited to try out this place since we have been to some other rodizio restaurants and we had put in our reservation that were going for a birthday. We had reservations around 2:45 figuring we would try and get an early dinner in and the restaurant week menu would kick in shortly after at 3pm. We were seated just before 3 and it seemed like we were forced to either pick the lunch rodizio or what felt like pushing for an up charge to go with the dinner option. When we mentioned we wanted the restaurant week menu, it was passed over as not an option. It was awkward nonetheless. The food was good even though we weren’t offered some of the better cuts, but the service stopped coming pretty quickly and there was a long pause after we were first tended to. Our waiter came around and asked us if there was a cut we wanted to try again and we told him there was. The meat never came. After a longer wait we decided to get the check and leave. For $52 a person for lunch rodizio, it seemed like they could have done much better. Too bad.

We had a late reservation I saw online that they closed at midnight so I thought a 10 PM reservation would be OK. Turns out they closed at 11 but that did not stop them from bringing fresh meats to us consistently. Even asked us if we had any special requests, and made us fresh lamb chops. The service was outstanding the food, a wonderful in no way did they make us feel like we were being rushed out of there. The drinks were fantastic as was the salad bar, top-notch, brie, lox, and chowder.
