    A guest and I dined on June 1, 2024, my birthday was May 26, and my menu card was engraved with "HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY". I made no mention of my birthday when setting the reservation via Open Table...just seven hours prior to dining. The service we received was very attentive, as usual, and the food was outstanding: POLPO BALSAMIC GLAZED OCTOPUS, CALABRIAN CHILI, FENNEL, INK, POTATO GNOCCHI; FETTUCCINE LOBSTER, PRAWN, PANCETTA, PRESERVED LEMON, TOMATO PARMA ROSA; SHORT RIB DUNGENESS CRAB, YUKON GOLD POTATO, NAPA CABBAGE, MARSALA JUS; SONOMA DUCK STRAWBERRY, ENGLISH PEAS, WILD ALLIUM, POULTRY JUS, DUCK FAT CROSTATA; and BOMBOLONI HUCKLEBERRY, FENNEL, AMARETTI, RICOTTA GELATO. Allora is #1 on my list of top 5 restaurants in Sacramento.

    My husband and I met a couple of our couple friends here for a date night and It did not disappoint. We had been eyeing the restaurant for a few months and just couldn’t figure out who we wanted to enjoy the experience with and boy did we choose correctly. Not only was the company excellent, but the food and service and ambiance was perfect. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and polite. I honestly don’t have one negative thing to say about the food OR drinks I ordered. I would definitely go again and try new dishes so I can explore even more of their carefully crafted menu. I could say soooo much more but I will keep It short. Key things…. It’s a must try, keep an open mind, and ask questions… because if you aren’t sure… (and you have the server we had) he will tell you everything there is to know about your dish! Enjoy!

    Great service delicious food. Our server was extremely patient and explained all items on the menu in detail. She even went to great lengths to substitute an item.

    Food was fantastic. Cocktails were also well crafted. Outdoor patio was beautiful. Server seemed a bit dismissive of us, but still was prompt.

    Fantastic experience, they were able to accommodate low sodium entrees for one of our guests we ordered in advance and accommodate my gluten allergy. Great service, delicious food
