    Cheese plate presentation looks slapped together and not worth the price for the cheese or look. Ribeye was tiny compared to ribeye under previous owners

    Despite booking for outdoor seating, it wasn't available upon arrival. After waiting for 15 minutes without any greeting or water, I was disappointed to find that despite indicating it was a birthday celebration, nothing special was prepared. Furthermore, the desserts were not up to par.

    Unfortunately, this restaurant now has new owners, and food is considerably worse. Under the prior ownership, the food was delicious and the place was packed. Now the food is mediocre and way overpriced with not nearly as much on the menu. I can already tell they are loosing business as a result. Such a shame as Alameda really needs nicer restaurants!

    It’s been a while since dining here, because it felt way over priced. Took another shot. Service slow, food “ok”, prices not commensurate with the food or service.

    The food was fantastic. Very cool out of the way spot, literally down the alley. After dinner, we hit The Alameda Comedy Club, which is a block away at best. It made for a great night out.

    No one showed up on Easter, maybe only in the evening. Only 3 tables were occupied! Our waitress was delightful and waiter also very good. We had oysters that had water instead of brine…they must have been shucked and sitting in water for a long time. Sort of fresh, but not freshly shucked. Too watery to be good. The marinated pear salad would have been better if the Brie was soft, not hard and chilled. But the scallops on spinach risotto was delicious! Fabulous. Too bad the rest of the food was so spotty. I looked forward to a great meal, but was disappointed. Don’t need to overspend for mediocrity. Too bad. New owners?

    The food was good and satisfying. It was pricey! The atmosphere was clean and inviting. I would recommend giving it a try.

    Had a lovely brunch on the patio. Food was great and the service was very attentive, even helping us serve a birthday cake we had brought with us. The kids liked exploring the alley while the adults enjoyed our drinks.
