My first visit to the Allanton Inn. Lovely food, great local beers and friendly service. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in the Borders.

Food was excellent there was just too much for us to eat even though it was meant to be a sharing plate. Lovely lady Steph, served us very friendly

Extensive range on the menu. Excellent quality, locally sourced food. Friendly efficient service . Great ambience. The best in the eastern part of the Borders.

We're new to the area but we have been here quite a few times and always take visitors. Everything is so lovely about this place. Food, staff, cleanliness, professionalism, friendly and so much more. We'll continue our visits and can't wait until the next time. Don't miss out!!!

Good was exceptional, all high quality. Excellent range of drinks, including non-alcoholic. Friendly but not intrusive service. Would definitely return.

We were looked after very well with appropriately timed & warm service. The ambience is welcoming & spacious, a lovely inn setting. The food was very yummy & good portion sizes. Would definitely recommend .

Fabulous meal with great service. I also came away better informed as the staff told me all about the Lintlaw honey berries used in my dessert

Warm friendly Inn with good decor/atmosphere. Very comfortable with good food and service at very reasonable cost. Good selection of beers and wine. Would recommend.

I could not fault anything from walking through the door to leaving the next morning. The Inn was immaculate, food amazing and the staff were very welcoming and friendly, I would definitely recommend staying here and will we will be going back, superb 😀

Love the food here. Booked with family who live in Scotland whilst visiting for Xmas. This is the 3rd time we have been for lunch and would always return when in the area.

Our first visit to the Allenton Inn and it definitely will not be our last. For us it is everything we could want. Really lovely staff great service and the food was superb. Many thanks to the entire team

Table for two was in bar and a large party also in bar. Not too noisy for the number of diners. At this time of year views outside do not really matter but in summer a view outside would be good. Food, as always, excellent . Staff pleasant and helpful.
