Elegant setting, friendly wait staff, delicious and plentiful food. The 3 course set menu excellent value for money and is well paced in its delivery. Even then, servings are generous and we had leftovers to take home to continue enjoying Alia's cooking.

The food was really tasty and very good value. We did the set menu for 4 people and it was honestly probably enough to comfortably feed 6. The wines we had were also very nice. Highly recommend dining here.

While the food was generally good, the service was patchy and took too long and the noise level made it hard for 6 of us sitting at a round table to converse. None of us will return to Alia Bar.

Alia was great! Food was delicious, absolutely authentic Greek experience. Staff were friendly and attentive and the bar staff made amazing cocktails. Best Whisky Old Fashioned I’ve had for a long time. Favourite dish was the saganaki, with the lamb chops and lemon potatoes a close second. Wait staff seat you and provide menus but didn’t explain to order via the QR code on the table. Also, if you want dishes to come out in a particular order you’ll need to order through the staff as the app just puts everything through at the same time. Overall a great experience! Lovely ambiance. Pricey, ($20 for an Old Fashioned) but would recommend for special occasions. Not really suitable for kids, it’s more up-market.

Great to see a new Greek restaurant in Canberra! The food was delicious - perfectly cooked Greek food, beautifully presented. We had the Lamb Gyros and the Chicken Souvlaki and both were wonderful.
