This was our 3rd or 4th shot at Alcove. We love the vibe and the ambiance, but the service and food seems to fall short every time.

We had a late dinner near 10PM, an hour before close (which we hate doing), but it turned out great! The staff, food, and drinks were great! Being so late we damn near had the room to ourselves. We used the unique opportunity to take in the ambience of the place and enjoy the atmosphere.

Alcove has a lovely ambience. The walls filled with gorgeous plants makes the place feel inviting and homey. Those same walls absorb some of the noise so that a normal voice can be used when conversing with others at the table. The service was stellar. The beer drinkers at the table were able to ask for samples before choosing a glass. The menu selection is quite limited. Only 4 main courses to choose from. So check the menu before coming. I had the salmon and it was perfectly cooked. Crispy outer and moist on the inside. I was not a fan of the curry sauce and typically I do like curry dishes. This sauce was not balanced. Luckily, it was served as a base and was not poured over the salmon. The house sangria was a bit too sweet for my taste. I'm not a beer drinker, so I'll stick with the wine next time. The carrot appetizer was absolutely delicious! Overall, it was a good experience and I'd certainly return.

Having dinner at Alcove during the week is a nice change of pace. The staff is always attentive and accommodating, the food is delicious, and the ambiance is calming. I love the place!

I was prepared to say our experience was not so great as service was very slow and our waitress was not very attentive. We actually had to ask someone for her to get more drinks. She made up for the service by comping our appetizer and bringing a slice a cake so great service recovery. Food was very good as usual. We do tend to always get one of the tables by the front door so hopefully next time we are more inside the restaurant.

our service was amazing. a small hiccup with seating (not the employees fault) but they went above and beyond to make it right. the food and drinks were great and the vibes were chill. great for dinner and cocktails. the outdoor space is adorable and the restaurant and bars are clean and bright. will be coming back soon!
