Had a great time at Alchemy—it was our last meal in Vancouver and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing—we ordered the pesto pasta with salmon, hawaiian pizza, and fish tacos. Everything was fantastic. Our server, Sandeep, was very polite and friendly. Great overall experience, definitely worth the price.

Food wasn’t very good and the ambience and set up are lacking, especially compared to so many other better places that operate on the same block. Went there for dine out and was quite disappointed.

My friends loved the Cobb salad and I loved my pasta. The owner is very accommodating. All in all a great experience!

I came here for a friend's birthday. I am surprised by how high this restaurant was rated (4.7* on Google with over 100 reviews). It was most definitely not a 4.7*. The food, service, and ambiance were mediocre at best. I would not come here again.

We came here in early January and since we have a dog we sat outside. It was not very comfortable or welcoming; I would say rather ok. The staff was super friendly though and we felt well taken care of.

With a friend, I shared the Chicken Wings (Hot), the Nachos Plate and the Diavola Pizza. The pizza was delicious - it would earn top marks for sauce, delectable toppings, such as jalapeno and soppressata and a slightly crispy crust. The wings were tasty and tossed with the right amount of hot sauce. The nachos were sizable. However, there was an important side missing from this dish - salsa. To me, nachos are not worth having without salsa. Perhaps I should have confirmed with the server before ordering whether or not salsa was included with the dish. The highballs were decent, too. I enjoyed the whiskey with Ginger Ale. However, I made the mistake of having rum with the second highball. It was white rum, which does not do it for me, and I think the bottle was old, possibly expired, and a bit stale, making it flavorless. Luckily, the server agreed to let me have another whiskey highball on the house. The interior of the restaurant and the overall ambiance is not impressive. However, I appreciated the fact Alchemy has a TV. Once the Baltimore Ravens NFL game ended, the staff played Canucks vs. Devils on the TV, which was great. Definitely, this was a positive dining experience. I did not feel like I was in over my head at Alchemy Bar + Kitchen.

Our server was friendly and charming. 3 course meal $29 ok value the salad was bigger than main course. Dessert was delicious (tiramisu) food was good.
