Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

Alberts Standish offers three unique spaces for all types of events from weddings, corporate dinners and presentations to private parties. The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. Flooded by natural daylight, all our spaces and the rooms are versatile and as equally suited to private parties and celebrations as they are to networking events, lunches and dinners. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

Very nice restaurant with excellent staff but a pretentious menu that does not clearly indicate the prices and is inflexible. I would like to have eaten the chicken with crispy potatoes BUT I was informed that it was only available with dates. Strange!

Hi. I have always loved Alberts ( Standish ) but I wasn’t impressed with the new menu cards. They reminded me of a ‘take away menu’ Alberts has always been a high end restaurant so why have you introduced these cheap looking menu cards ? Having said all that our party of 9 adults enjoyed our time there. Emma who was our waitress was excellent! Kind Regards

Venue is lovely and atmosphere is good also. However I feel let down by the presentation of a fillet steak. It comes with one side as standard so ordered green beans which were tasty. It arrived on a huge plate with nothing else, should there not have been a little side tomato or mushrooms as most restaurants would serve included in the price which was £32. Service was good overall but felt that I was short changes on presentation/ value.

I was booked in at 5pm for a 10 year anniversary meal with my wife. We were taken over to our table and straight away asked what drinks we wanted, those were ordered and then we had to order our starter and main course. We asked if we could order our starter and our main meal afterwards, we knew that we had a 2 hour slot on our table and that was fine with us but the waiter wouldn’t let us do that, he said it wouldn’t work well in the kitchen. We ordered but asked for a break in between courses, this was agreed. The starter was there before we had even started our drink, very good food but everything just so rushed. The break in between courses to have a glass of wine didn’t happen, the mains arrived, the food was very good but I ordered the seabass and didn’t know until I spoke to a friend that also ate there later that it should have come with a side of potatoes. So the meal wasn’t complete and nobody checked to see if our meal was ok and so didn’t realise they had missed this. We then sat for 10 minutes, no one came to ask if we wanted anything else so we asked for the bill, but what was the rush for then to just leave us sat there?! We were in and finished in just over an hour, not the 2 hours allocated on our table. The whole thing was a complete rush even though they knew we were celebrating. We don’t get chance often and so wanted to make the most of our time there but we won’t be returning or recommending Alberts.

Been to Albert’s a many times and always enjoy the good. Yesterday’s meal however was disappointing, three of us had seabass dish was about £16/17 and doesn’t come with anything no potatoes or veg. Clearly moved to a menu whereby they are pushing to order sides. Not against ordering sides but a meal usually comes with veg/salad or potatoes of some description. Children’s menu was also disappointing quite frustrating when it’s made up of beige food, ended up ordering a main meal for my daughter. Other than that the rest of the food starters and desserts were good.

Food was very good. Not lots of choice but probably just enough. However if you had a lot of varied preferences or fussy diners out with you it would be worth checking the menu prior to going. Service was good. Quick. Great ambiance with lovely modern decor. Very clean and nice ( however toilets had a funky sewerage smell ) Busy but did not feel to close to people Mixture of age groups Cocktail was delicious (espresso martini) Will definitely return

The service to me is just brilliant. We have been going to Albert’s Standish since it opened and I always feel Iv had a great time. I’m a wheelchair user and they take such good care of me without being of the top. They seem to know I am very independent and treat me that way which I love. Yesterday I went alone to meet my friends and soon as i arrived they got me a drink while I found a table in the bar area to wait for my friends so i felt so welcome and didn’t feel awkward being alone for while I waited. Thank you everyone.x

We went to Alberts in Standish on May Bank Holiday Monday, we had such a lovely lunch, the service was brilliant and the staff were so lovely and obliging, nothing was too much trouble. It is very easy for us to recommend Alberts in Standish, a wonderful experience 😀

Met up with 2 friends for brunch and had a lovely time on the terrace. Weather was great and the atmosphere was calming and tranquil. Love this place and would highly recommend

Having previously dined at Albert's, we were a little disappointed with the menu selection. Sone of the dishes have been on the nenu since opening. There was no cheese platter available, which is what my friend and I usually select. Food was tasty, but more options please. Also, limited gluten free options on the menu for me.

Went here for the first time last night. What a brilliant experience. Had a DJ on playing tunes in the background. Food was amazing, service was fab. Vibe and energy was great. Will be back there soon !

Been to Albert son many occasions but never on a Sunday. I had been given a voucher for my 60th so went for Sunday lunch. Yes it was busy but service was awful. Waited 20 minutes till any one took drinks order, water for the table didn’t arrive and had to be asked again for, long wait for food, waitress asked would we like to see the dessert menu after 15 minutes she came and asked did we want more drinks no we want the dessert menu, she looked quite shocked when we said this, not the best service we’ve had and very disappointing. We asked for the service charge to be removed as we felt we hand t gad a good service

Outstanding service from start to finish. Incredible staff, smart, friendly and professional. No feeling of being rushed, very relaxed. Live music gently playing in the background. Really nice ambience, very high class surrounds. We are new to Standish and the Sunday roast sharer was the best we have had. Everything fresh and perfectly cooked, nice drinks selection and just 10/10 !!!!!!! Can't wait to return with family. 10% tip well deserved........ should be 20% !
