Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

Alberts Standish offers three unique spaces for all types of events from weddings, corporate dinners and presentations to private parties. The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. Flooded by natural daylight, all our spaces and the rooms are versatile and as equally suited to private parties and celebrations as they are to networking events, lunches and dinners. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

Lovely chilled breakfast I had the Egg Benedict with Pancetta and the hubby had Turkish Eggs, both were well presented hot and tasty …. Perfect breakfast spot on the outside covered terrace

Food mediocre, pricey for quality. Service not great, felt waitress not interested. Had a good experience last time.

Disappointed with roast chicken dish. Small desert portion.

The ambience was very pleasant and the service was good although we did have to wait longer than expected for main course after starter. However the main course was very disappointing - although the plate was very hot the food was only just warm! The content was also disappointing - a small piece of seabass with far too many new potatoes and nothing else except for far too much sauce.

Hi, thanks for your review. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the ambiance & service. We are however disappointed to learn of your dissatisfaction with the food & wait times. Wednesday was our new lunch menu launch, although we try our best to get our chefs trained and ready sometimes there can be a slight delay whilst we adjust to the new recipes. I am sorry for the delay, a server should have let you know. With any new menu we seek feedback so we thank you for sharing your findings on the temperature & sizing. Please be assured that our servers check back on guests meals and if we are made aware of any negative feedback we will gladly make a fresh meal. Whilst the food was nice and came quickly, the service was poor. We had to ask three separate times to order our food instead of someone coming over to take our order as the staff seem to stand around and chat rather than looking to take orders.
