Alberto’s is a small cozy restaurant serving delicious Brazilian and European foods.
We are located in an old farm house on Douglas Bend Road between Hendersonville and Gallatin.

Customers love our risottos, pastels and spaghettis with a Brazilian twist. Our desserts round off a perfect meal.
We also offer take-out. Call in or use our website www.albertos.us to place an order.

We also serve wine now. You are still welcome to bring your favorite wine. There will be a corking fee.

Food was scorching hot and we waited at least 15 min for it to cool down to be able to eat it. This is the second time that we’ve had food that was way too hot to eat for a substantial time. Cake was dried out, as well. Service was a tad slow but there was only one server doing everything. She was absolutely fantastic though. I do know that they are hiring, so, fingers crossed it gets better with more staff.

We were looking for a unique, local restaurant with ethnic food and a quiet atmosphere…Alberto’s was perfect! Authentic Brazilian food prepared by a Brazilian chef. The manager was also raised in Brazil! We ordered a sampler appetizer platter, a pastel and a risotto dish. Everything was truly delicious! Very friendly staff! The restaurant is in a refurbished farm house and has so much personality…so nice! We ate early and were sorry to miss the live music! Skip the chain restaurants, and try something new!

What a great experience! The food was excellent, and you get what you pay for in portions. Service was spot on! Sabrina was very kind and easy to talk with. It's definitely worth going and will go again.

The food was excellent, ambience was nice and cozy. The restaurant was not busy and therefore quiet, but if full would be very loud. Risotto Brie was excellent!

We had been wanting to try Alberto's for a while. We wanted to try it out for Valentine's Day - so we made a reservation. We were greeted moments after we walked in and then seated quickly. Our waitress was attentive and made recommendations as well as answered our questions. The food was unique and we enjoyed the experience. We shared the fingerfood sampler and then I had beef stroganoff and my husband had the spaghetti carbonara.

We live on the border between KY and TN. We love making the special trip to Gallatin to dine at Alberto’s. The food is delicious and the building and ambience are charming.

The restaurant is located in a house off the main road and is quite charming- the service was excellent as was the food. Their bakery provides outstanding desert options and the overall experience was outstanding!

We had New Years Eve brunch with some good friends. We have been there several times together and always love it! Food was incredible and we each tried something we hadn’t had before except our son who had pasta again. Everything was awesome, service was impeccable, dessert which we don’t usually don’t have room for was split 3 desserts split 5 ways was just the crowning glory!

Our waitress had an off night. She asked if we wanted our food boxed up when all 4 of us were actively eating. When a member of my family asked if she could have a napkin she said I’ll bring you a bag. She spilt sauce on my cousins blouse when messing with a to go container.. the container that she messed with, also leaked so bad that it spilt all down my floorboards and car seat when we got it in the car (the bag was upright the whole time) . Spaghetti was so full of oil that my kiddo barely ate it. Normally this place is exceptional.. not sure what happened tonight.

What a great place for a family dinner or an intimate dinner. Saw several friends there too. Fernanda fixed me something special for me due to allergies. Everyone liked what they got. They all shared too. Our waitress was fantastic. She told us her experience in Brazil and the food. What a fun time with family.

We had a party of 6 for brunch celebrating two birthdays; greeted very warmly and taken to our table quickly. Our waitress was very polite and professional through out our time dining but she may need more training. Coffee orders were taken and told a new pot was brewing; out of the 5 coffees brought to our table more than 10 minutes later, only 1 was warm. Food was straggered and one plate -a club sandwich- was 10 minutes behind the others. Ketchup was asked for three times (each time our waitress had been to the table bringing something else) before it was brought causing food to get cold because of the wait. Hashbrowns are listed as one of the side items and 3 were ordered. Tater tots were given instead. The tots were good but if this was a substitute item, guests should be informed upon ordering so they can opt to select a different side item. If tater tots are not a sub item, suggest stating so on menu instead of "hashbrowns". Four of us have dined at this establishment and have raved about it and were excited to celebrate at Albertos. We will continue to celebrate and dine here, encouraging others to as well. We hope the wait staff is well trained prior to taking care of guests and supported by members of the team and management to encourage growth once "flying solo".

Lucky to find this gem on Yelp, and we were not disappointed. We started with appetizers trying the finger food sampler. They were all fried in shapes that looked like Falafel, but only one was Falafel. The flavors were: One bolinha de queijo, one coxinha beef, one coxinha chicken, one coxinha ham & cheese, one quibe. All were good, but we preferred the Falafel and Bolinha de queijo. But definitely would order this appetizer again. For my entrée I ordered the Chicken Caldos which was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly (both the rice and meat), and the sauce was absolutely amazing as it was seasoned to perfection and taste was elite. My fiancé ordered the Risotto with Brie and added shrimp. The Risotto was cooked perfectly, and it paired very well with the shrimp and brie. I really enjoyed this dish too. We shared a chocolate cheesecake with strawberries for dessert, and it was so amazing. The service was also top notch, but I can't remember our servers name (younger female with brunette hair) She was an amazing server as she was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Also the atmosphere is amazing, and what a wonderful older home with so much charm for this setting. We will be back soon hopefully for brunch!

Was so hopeful that this would be a fine dining experience but it wasn’t. Food was ok. Not great. Ambience was very grandmas house. Salad dressing served in to go containers, salt and pepper in tiny paper packets. This is classic we don’t care about our business or your dining experience. What really hurts a restaurant is not even knowing the names of the Vintner’s of the wines that are served?? All around terrible experience.

I love Alberto’s. It is kind of embarrassing because one waitress knows exactly what we are going to order every time we dine there. Yeah, we have our favorite dishes and while I always think I’m going to branch out, I still order the chicken and shrimp caldos. It is the best! But the fact that they know and remember us makes this place even more special. It is like dining at your Meemaw’s house (if your Meemaw is a great cook 😉). Cozy ambiance and way better than the ubiquitous meat and three that is far too prevalent in Gallatin. Try Alberto’s. You will absolutely NOT be disappointed.

Excellent!!!! Excellent food and service. The falafel app is so delish. Our group had the seafood risotto and the spaghetti. Plus don’t even get me started on the desert. Plus the in house made fresh juice is a must, the strawberry lime was so refreshing!

No points for dining here so will not return. It’s a sham, the food is delicious, restaurant quaint and nice but service is lacking. I don’t appreciate eye rolls when asking for creamer and sugar.

Guests in town so we wanted to try a local place-no chain. The food was good but it’s very expensive. My issue was with the service. It was slow and TERRIBLE. I feel when you are charging that much for food your server should be able to anticipate your needs not expect you to ask for everything like more drink in an empty glass etc., or when you do ask, provide. I dropped my napkin and asked for another 3 times to no avail. I finally took one from the empty table beside us. At the end of the meal, they don’t provide a dessert menu but direct you to a register area to choose your own and then return to the table with your choice! Excuse me!! What’s your tip for?! We won’t be back. We weren’t impressed.

There is not another restaurant like this in sumner county. The food is always delicious. On this particular visit they were breaking in new staff so the service wasn’t quite up to par. But they’ll get better and we’ll be back. You have to go to Nashville to get this kind of restaurant

We love Albertos being our neighborhood restaurant. Food is always good, and desserts and pastries are amazing! It's a small family business so they may be understaffed at times and service can be slow but just enjoy the quaintness and relax. I love that you can bring your own wine and be charged a reasonable corkage fee (it's gone up but still not bad at $14).

Great food!!! Absolutely wonderful experience. I actually questioned posting here because I don't want it to get super popular because I want to be able to eat there all the time. Just a fantastic place to eat!!!

The food was incredible. I love their risotto, and they had added new options since I was there last. The chicken, palmetto was absolutely amazing. Enough for two, or to have leftovers. Delicious!! I’ll be back.
