The chef tasting menu $175 the three starters were too similar and plain to make any impression. The pasta was also not exciting. The two main courses were a little better but again nothing eyes opening. The deserves were ok

Truly enjoyed a fab bz lunch at this lovely and convenient location. Service was wonderful, and the noise level quieter than most bz. lunches but not entirely quiet. Only odd thing is the large round tables; for a party of two we sat somewhat awkwardly side to side since to sit across such a large table we'd have to raise our voices; but I'm nit-picking here. We chose the $80 Prix Fixe Menu; for our App we both had the skate with caviar; it was delectable (had to add $12 PP over the prix fixe for this item). My client had a marvelous rabbit risotto and I had the perfectly prepared striped bass over lentils and asparagus. We both thoroughly enjoyed our mains. The portion sizes were perfect; not tiny but not huge, we both finished them entirely since we did not feel stuffed with anything fatty (forgot to get pics). For dessert my coconut rice pudding and his specialty cookies both revealed surprise ingredients, were not overly sweeet/sugared and beautifully presented as a former Michelin star venue would do. The decor is especially nice in the bar/sitting area, many walls adorned with large paintings of peonies, plush seating, and on the stairs leading up to the restaurant entry and decorated with flowers as you come up from the hotel lobby. One glass of wine was pricey ($22), as is the sparkling water. After Cappuccino and Espresso with the 20% tip our bill was $310 so it adds up quickly. But my client and I truly enjoyed our meal, never rushed, great bread and olive oil too, so we'll be back!

Lots of staff but slow and infrequent check in to see if all ok. For example, finished cup of coffee and after a while needed to get the attention of server for refill. Was fine because we aren’t in a rush, but just saying. Not up to Michelin high service. Lots of support staff could easily ask if need anything else when dropping off dishes or drinks. But they don’t.

You won't find better service anywhere. Attentive, friendly and funny. The staff makes for a wonderful time. Pricey, but worth a special occassion.

Love, love, love this wonderful restaurant. Elegant and superb dining experience. Service is exceptional and the food is outstanding. New and innovative with great taste and presentation. Always a great experience.

I stopped in at Ai Fiori for lunch, and my experience was nothing short of phenomenal. The restaurant is spacious and beautiful, with such a serene ambience. The roasted beets were so flavorful and delicious. The scallops were cooked to perfection. And the tiramisu was simply out of this world. My server Krystal was just amazing, and made sure that I was taken care of at all times. There are few places left in NYC like Ai Fiori. I look forward to returning.
