Agua Viva is one of the flagship restaurants in Chef José Andrés’s collection at Conrad Los Angeles. At this chic rooftop restaurant, Chef Andrés effortlessly weaves vibrant Asian flavors with Latin American influences, all while paying homage to his home country of Spain.

Our menu features diverse global flavors that reflect the true melting pot of LA. Designed to be shared, our dishes are as eye-catching as they are vibrant, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. As you decompress in our breezy dining room, enjoy sparkling platters of oysters; a bright, refreshing Young Coconut Ceviche studded with avocado and mango; Chef Andrés’s iconic Txule Burger, made with dry-aged ribeye; and whole fried sea bream, with fresh herbs and mojo verde.

Located within Conrad Los Angeles, a part of the stunning Frank Gehry-designed The Grand LA, Agua Viva features a promenade, bar area, and upper and lower dining rooms with terrace views of the mountains.

Beautiful location with great food and service. Easy, no hassle access to the restaurant is a plus for DTLA as well.

Food and ambiance were very good. The service was great. I think it helped that we were there before the lunch rush. But servers were quick to get our orders, remove our plates and get our food in, which helps when dining with a toddler and a child.

We both had lobster rolls, which were tasty but didn’t contain much lobster. The accompanying salads were delicious. And the service was super friendly and prompt. Next time maybe we’ll try the chilled seafood platter.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Agua Viva, even though it was cloudy overhead. The service was friendly, the ambience was relaxing, and the food and drink were phenomenal. Faves included the crab croquetas, salmon tiradito, and octopus. We will be back.

We loved our experience. The food, wine, and service were all amazing. The setting is beautiful and we enjoyed the open air and the decor. Our server was attentive, offered excellent suggestions, and made sure we were comfortable.

Beautiful spot in downtown . The only inconvenience was finding the restaurant itself as it is located rooftop of a building without any signs or information on how to get to the top and escalators not working , however we found it and loved it !!!

A bit chilly as it was outside, portions are small but food is delish! Quality over quantity which is always good.

Wonderful service and great food. In fact, the service was the best we’ve experienced in quite some time. A little breezy and cool even though they have a few heaters. So bring a jacket. We were there in mid-May at 5-6 pm and were chilly. Beautiful rooftop location with nice views of downtown LA. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Not at the same level as other Jose Andres restaurants. Food quality was poor and service has to improve quiet a bit
