This was my second trip to Agnes, and I can now safely say that Agnes is a great spot for a wonderful group brunch or dinner. Their menu has enough variety that everyone can find something they'll like, while still knowing that everything will but up to Agnes' great quality. What a good spot - you should go!!

Took my clients there for lunch. The Cuban Melt was really good. The main drawback for me was the service. This gentleman seemed new. When pouring our water he spilled some when pouring in every cup. Not like a drop or two but enough to leave a pool of water on the table around the cup. Pretended not to notice and never wiped it up. He disappeared for a bit and we still hadn’t ordered. Anyway, long story short the food and ambiance was good but the service was not great. I’ll be back again for the Cuban melt and hope for better service.

Once again, a delicious meal and lovely experience at Agnes on the patio. The cheese board is always magical and we love Chef Thomas' ever changing creative menu plus the classic favorites, cornbread eclairs and banana pudding! The staff feels like a family and that permeates our dining experience every time.

The servers are professional and friendly, and everyone goes out of their way to make us feel welcome! And the food and drinks are fantastic...

Agnes was wonderful. Highly recommend the pasta dishes, especially the potato dumplings. Great energy inside the restaurant. Open kitchen concept.

John P (or Jon, didn’t ask his spelling) and the rest of the staff were so nice and professional! The staff left a nice card for our friend’s birthday. Great service and excellent food and drinks. Love the seating area out back too. We’ll definitely return, thanks!

What a gem in Pasadena! We ate brunch there and every morsel was delicious. How can you pass up tater tots with a yummy dipping sauce? We also got the pork belly benedict, the Cuban sandwich and a relatively simple green salad that was actually off the charts tasty. Come to find out...they sell the dressing used on that salad in their store. We bought a container! Without a doubt, we will be returning for dinner sometime soon!

So disappointing. I've been here several times and the quality has changed considerably. The first time I had their Tomahawk pork chop it was a thing of beauty, served quite rare (what they termed medium) in a delicious jus. Last night the cut was so thin there was no way for it to be rare, it was overcooked and as my dining companion said: it looked like supermarket meat. (for $58). The cheese on our cheese board was meh, we didn't eat it (and they have some amazing cheeses in their counter — you can't make requests, but you can order what you know individually). Lastly and quite annoying: the music was so loud and awful it made what is a lovely setting feel chaotic and unwelcoming. We felt like they wanted us to leave as soon as possible. Just my opinion, the restaurant wasn't suffering for diners.

It was truly a great experience at Agnes yesterday. From the moment I stepped in, the warm ambience made me feel right at home. The food was beyond delicious, with every dish a delightful journey of flavor. The drinks were equally exceptional, expertly crafted and wonderfully complementing the meal. The attention to detail, the genuine warmth and food/drink knowledge of your staff made our brunch truly special. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place for culinary enthusiasts like myself. I plan to bring my small family in next time!

We have been planning to come to dine for well over a year. We have stopped and picked up cheese and shopped but wanted to sit and enjoy. So we walked in and started our adventure. We were seated on the patio out back and it was perfect. The temperature, the service, the atmosphere and the view. They sat me facing what I can only describe as a dream of a test kitchen. As our meal was delivered and I was lost in conversation with my wife, I kept finding myself dreaming about this space. As a professional Chef and a teacher by trade, I kept dreaming of all the possibilities. Our evening was amazing and we can’t wait to go back. I also now have so many ideas for my culinary classroom when it’s time to design. Well done, Team! See you soon.

Wine Wednesday's and a cheese board... I don't think I need to say anything more. If you're looking for a charming restaurant to take that special someone in your life on a cute date look no further. Agnes is absolutely gorgeous and the food does not disappoint. The staff is always so sweet. Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and they gave him a card signed by everyone.

AGNES is one of our favorite restaurants in Pasadena. Outstanding quality from the Food to the Service. Great wine selection, amazing dishes like the Lamb Meatballs and the Cornbread Eclair! We'll have a great time any time of the day at Agnes! Ohh, did I mention the Bodega they have right at the front??!! :0)

Agnes is a terrific lunch spot. Staff is friendly and helpful. They are patient and polite. Food is terrific. Get a cheeseboard! Sandwiches are delicious and HUGE! Enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend.

We waited 20 minutes for the doors to open for Friday brunch. We were seated first but later tables were served before us. Wait staff seemed shorthanded, so much so that the maitresse d' had to double team with our server. We came for the cornbread eclairs due to GF needs, but they neither serve this at brunch or offer much in the way of GF options. Portions are large and the bread thick and heavy as lead; in my case my laughable 'sando' was so towering it had to be deconstructed to eat. A notable exception was the lighter-than-air and delectable tater tots. No decaf espresso drinks, and this day the undrinkable decaf coffee was refused.

Delicious food and great customer service. We ordered the three sandwiches that were on the menu that day - fried green tomato, cuban melt, and chicken parm. Second time visiting Agnes. Ambiance is nice too. The owner of Rocket Doodle Cookies was there and we sampled some amazing homemade cookies, and went home with each flavor! Will definitely be back!
