Afternoon tea. Got bottle of prosecco free as was a birthday celebration. Service good. There was a little lack of atmosphere. Could have had Irish music in the background or a fiddler, something to liven the place up. Victorian features still remain in the main bar which once was the drawing office where shipbuilding plans were drawn up, could have had an original drawing table with plans giving a little more history. Overall had a good experience.

The afternoon tea was absolutely lovely. All of the food was delicious and we were very impressed with the choice of tea and coffee available.

The afternoon tea was in the Drawing Room 2 of the hotel. It's basically a bar in the middle with seating around the outside in a fantastic room. The day we attended was bright sunshine and the light streamed through the numerous windows. Our waitress was Stevie who couldn't do enough for us. There was a slight delay between the sandwiches and the scones and pastries which we didn't mind, but they gave us another glass of prosecco anyway. Will definitely visit again if we go to Belfast again.

Afternoon Tea was one of the best I had. Food was amazing and Equally, the staff were excellent at serving us. I can’t wait to go back. Definitely will recommend it anyone thinking of a trip to Belfast. It’s a must!

It was the second time I have taken afternoon tea at the Titanic Hotel and I can thoroughly recommend it. The lady looking after us was Stevie-Leigh and she was very friendly and attentive. The food was plentiful (we had to take some home), varied and delicious. The different types of tea were fantastic and we were encouraged to try as many as we liked. One of the group did mention some background music would be nice.

Food and desserts were delicious and beautifully presented. We added champagne to our tea which was lovely. The service was outstanding from both our server and restaurant manager. The only thing I would have added to enhance the ambiance, was a piano player since there was a lovely piano sitting center stage in the restaurant, but perhaps this is an evening or weekend addition. Overall, I highly recommend!

Afternoon tea at the Titanic hotel was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. The service was excellent and the food and drinks were delicious. The hotel is beautiful and very evocative of the Titanic. I would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic afternoon tea made all the more fantastic because of Nicola who looked after us and served us are afternoon tea, she was very kind understanding and knowledgeable.

The Titanic Hotel is a beautiful building. They have successfully blended in new parts to the original drawing office buildings I phoned to ask if we could bring our booking forward, this was no problem. The staff are lovely, very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our food and if fact struggled to eat everything. We were also able to walk around the hotel and look at the history of the rooms open. The hotel does provide a free guided tour of the building in addition. This was a brilliant experience and we would definitely return.

This was a fantastic afternoon. We went with kids and the restaurant was so welcoming to them and they loved the kids menu and coloring while we enjoyed our tea. The kids got all of their food on one tray while the adults had sandwiches with a delicious cup of soup, followed by the next course which were scones and treats. We could try as many teas as we would like, and the service was great.

Unfortunately our table was right beside the bar in the Drawing Room and as the afternoon progressed the counter was used to stack up dirty plates, cups and teapots - the sink at the bar was also used to rinse through some items and I even suspect the dishwasher came into service. Surely these dishes should have been sent through to the kitchen?? This totally spoiled our experience as it became difficult to talk privately due to staff congregating right behind us at the bar setting down dirty dishes as tables were being reset. The noise of the dishes scraping along the counter disturbed the atmosphere. Thankfully this was half way through our afternoon tea experience. The food and service could not be complained about although one member of staff seemed to be doing the job of 2 people. Before leaving I mentioned to this staff member about how hard she had worked and she informed me that some new staff were being trained. Warning - do not sit near the bar.

I was a bit surprised at the location for the tea. I thought it would be in the Presentation Office. It was in the piano bar instead. We were the only ones there for our 4:00 tea. The tea selection was quite good. I took our server, Matthew's recommendation and had the green tea with lime (it was amazing). The presentation was pretty typical for an afternoon tea. Finger sandwiches (chicken, salmon, and egg salad), then the tower of warm scones (the cinnamon was great) and sweets. It was all fairly standard, but the food didn't knock me out. The best thing was the tea itself, and Matthew's attentive service and recommendations. He encouraged us to look around the hotel after our tea and gave us a map/brochure to help.

We were welcomed by a very amiable young lady who clearly explained how our experience would proceed, took our drinks order and during the meal asked if we would like photos taken. As this was my husband’s birthday event we now have some lovely memorable photos of the occasion. Cannot thank all st Titanic Hotel for their professionalism in such wonderful and historic surroundings.

Two of the 4 sandwiches were on hard possibly stale bread Long wait for scones although quite good.Disappointed in the surroundings No pianist. Server was very attentive. There are many better places for afternoon tea in Belfast.

Lovely setting and staff were very friendly. Could maybe do a few more sandwiches instead of so many desserts. We had to take some home in a box as such a latge selection. Very nice and great quality food

Gorgeous afternoon tea, lovely setting/decor let down by poor service. Sign at bar ‘wait to be seated’ but then no one was about & we were left standing awkwardly for ages. Eventually got table in bar independently. Originally reception staff said we could have a drink, but then bar staff said we couldn’t without ordering food. We had to clear some of the table ourselves. Service to order drinks and then pay after was extremely slow. When ordering our drinks I asked the girl to clear our table & when she came back to give us our drinks she didn’t. She asked if we wanted our Prosecco opened? And then plonked it on the table without pouring. I then had to carry the bucket into the afternoon tea room myself which was embarrassing. Afternoon tea server so was lovely but after an hour the staff asked if we wanted anything else, turned the lights off & left us alone in the room?! Our table was booked for 4pm. The piano music stopped at 4.45 and then all other service/staff stopped at 5.05 which I have never experienced anywhere I’ve had afternoon tea ever. I dislike writing bad reviews but this experience left my party in agreement we would never be back, which is a shame.

Staff amazing! Matthew was a gent. Room was gorgeous. Selection of teas coffee lovely. Sandwiches were basic and bread was slightly stale or just left in fridge for day. Variation of breads or rolls etc.. would be nicer. Kids sambo same bread hard stale or left in fridge all day. Prob 7 / 10

Lovely experience in a beautiful building. Staff in the restaurant were very attentive and lovely. Afternoon tea was fantastic and would love to come again. Went into the bar afterwards and service was really slow. Waited 30 minutes and asked waiting staff 4 times before receiving a drink.

I have allergies and felt there was no effort made with my sandwich choices. It was horrible white bread, the outsides were hard (like they were left sitting for hours), very plain and there was an awful taste from the butter like it was off. The sweet treats were lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful but I was very disappointed with the sandwich quality.

We choose the 4 o'clock slot, but were the only ones there . The room was atmospheric, beautiful and tasteful . I would recommend going at a more popular time, to appreciate the great setting and food at its best . We enjoyed our afternoon tea and the server was extremely attentive.

Attended Titanic for Christmas Afternoon Tea. Overall a nice atmosphere, it was quite noisy due to there also being a wedding on the same day. The bread used to make the sandwiches was cold as if it had only been taken out of the fridge. There were no teaspoons or milk on the table and when going for afternoon tea this would be quite important. The server did not know what the deserts were but said she would find out, someone serving should have knowledge of what is being offered. The toilets were overflowing with hand towels and lying on the floor. Normally I would attend elsewhere for Christmas Afternoon tea and decided to try the Titanic this year but I don’t think I’ll be back.
