The Fancy Fox Patisserie is a beautiful tea room and cake boutique in Broadway West, Leigh-on-sea serving delicious seasonal Afternoon tea, Artisan cakes, Speciality coffee and various other sweet and savoury delights.
We serve lunch Daily. This includes a variety of sandwiches, baguettes and home made quiche. Lunch is served on a walk in basis so pop along and enjoy.
Vegan, gluten free and dairy free afternoon tea is available. (Please note any Dietary requirements and preferences including if a Child afternoon tea is required must be written in your visit notes when booking and a minimum of 24hrs before your visit.)

Fancy A tipple don't worry we've got you covered from tea infused gins to sparkling champagne chilled to perfection there's something for everyone at The Fancy Fox. With our beautiful flower installations it's the perfect place to chill and chat with a glass of wine.

Lovely afternoon tea, food was outstanding and presented very well. Service was outstanding and we felt very spoilt throughout our stay. Very good value for money and surroundings were exquisite 😊x

A lovely little place. The ladies were very friendly and looked after us. Took a photo for us too! Lovely food, were given a box for our leftovers to take home. Will definitely be going back.

Amazing Afternoon Tea for a large group with lots of dietary requirements. Fancy Fox didn’t fail to impress us all. The setting is delightful. Our food was delicious and beautifully presented. The tea and coffee was replenished throughout. Such a wonderful experience. Thank you. We will be back for our next celebration.

Lovely place to celebrate a special occasion with afternoon tea. Well decorated inside with beautiful flowers and gentle music playing in the background . The food was very fresh and tasted delicious, beautifully presented. Will definitely visit again.

Another fab afternoon tea at The Fancy Fox. All the food was delicious. Its great value for money, compared to other afternoon tea's in the area. Beautiful decor. I would highly recommend.

We had a lovely time at the fancy Fox patisserie for my mum‘s 60th birthday. We hadn’t been here before and was pleasantly surprised. We will definitely return!

Would recommend - service was absolutely spot on and couldn’t fault them at all. They were attentive without hovering and feeling like we were being pushed out of the establishment! Food was lovely and the general feel of the place was modern but chilled as well, would definitely return!

We had a lovely time at Fancy Fox , for my friends 60th Lovely fresh delicious food , and lots of hot tea served all the time. Service was served with lovely ladies, friendly and efficient. Very nice time.

I came here with my mum last week as a belated Christmas treat. We had afternoon tea. Everything was so lovely; the food, the staff and the atmosphere. I will definitely return. Still thinking about those warm scones!

Had a really lovely time here with my boyfriend. The food was delicious and the finger sandwiches had a good amount of filling. I also absolutely loved the decor and sparkly foliage. The server was perfect - She was polite and attentive the entire time we were there. Would definitely go again!

Setting was beautiful, tables not too close to each other, stunning decor. Service was great, just the right amount of attention given and we didn’t feel rushed. Food was excellent, we had the gluten free and vegetarian afternoon tea.

Really enjoyed the afternoon tea experience. Lovely personal service by our waitress Kerry. Enjoyed the ambience of the music and decor. Lovely food and catered well with a gluten free option. Will definitely like to return soon.

Absolutely lovely afternoon celebrating our friend’s baby shower. The food was excellent and the staff attentive and not too pushy. We felt at ease during our afternoon tea, we weren’t rushed and throughly enjoyed the food and surroundings. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend!

The entire experience was wonderful. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I have been to two afternoon teas, and both were wonderful.

Literally never complain but… We were made to feel unwelcome because we had kids Told as we didn’t advise them of the kids in our party they would be served an adults afternoon tea and that we would have to pay in full for it When we advised the booking system didn’t state food was prepared in advance or that we needed to specify anything more than the number of people and that there was both adults and kids afternoon tea on the menu the rude waitress told us we should have noted it in the special requirements section. We loaded the booking form and pointed out the notes from the restaurant section which did not provide any guidance in this regard and suggested that it should do to avoid reoccurrence. She also told us the requirement to advise of kids in the booking was all over the website and the T&Cs. Having read them there doesn’t appear to be a sign of this in there T&Cs or on the website. Having asked the rude waitress who told us she had read it herself on there she was unable to show us where the bit she had read was. After advising we really didn’t agree that we should be charged for 2 adults afternoon teas for our kids, and after some very rude exchanges from the young waitress in front of our children they offered to split one of the adults teas between our kids. Without doubt the rudest waitress who has ever served us food of any description but clearly direction being provided by management / owners who choose to sent a young girl to deliver these messages rather than address it themselves. The adults afternoon tea was totally in appropriate for the kids, including pickle, horseradish, stuffing, baileys cheesecake and our kids didn’t eat it. There was no appreciation from the waitress that an adults afternoon tea was not right for a child. She retained that we had made the error and that they had done us a favour. Also considering they were serving other walk in patrons non afternoon tea to order I really can’t see why they couldn’t have

We had a really wonderful Afternoon Tea at The Fancy Fox Patisserie. The cafe itself has been beautifully decorated, with warm exposed brick walls and gorgeous hanging decorations. They change them, according to the seasons, and the Xmas decorations were lovely. The tea itself was delicious, with finger sandwiches, scones and cakes, all home made by the Owners. They offer a large range of teas, coffees and they are licenced, so the pink prosecco was very welcome. There is a delightful ambience in this cafe, and we would thoroughly recommend a visit.

We had a lovely time. From when you walked through the door you are well looked after. The food was one of the best afternoon teas, I have had, we had a lovely afternoon. It was very comfortable being disabled this is important.

I have been to lots of places in London for afternoon tea and this one is equal or in some cases better than those from the posh hotels, couldn't fault anything at all, perfect

This place is amazing. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Afternoon tea was on another level. Absolutely delicious. One of our party had dietry requirements and they were met. Couldn’t fault any part of the visit.

Delicious food and plenty of it. Just a bit on the expensive side at £35 per head. Friendly, helpful service when arranging and on the day. Lovely decor, now Christmassy, and pleasant music at the right volume to add atmosphere but not overly raise voices. Thank you

Upon arrival there seemed to be confusion over how many people were booked, then the menu selected had not been noted or read correctly so I had to explain again even though this had been confirmed previously in person. The food and service after this initial miscommunication was very good but first impressions do stay with you.
