Our newest restaurant, Afghania is the sister restaurant to Bistro Aracosia in the Palisades neighborhood of DC, Aracosia in McLean Va and Afghan Bistro in Springfield VA. Afghania accommodates any diet and is proud of taking cooking back to its origins.

Welcome to Afghania, where the Steppe of Central Asia meets the Hindu Kush and Suleiman Mountain Range, bordering South Asia. Come and enjoy the warm hospitality, exquisite flavors, and the mystery of the Afghan frontier that so many have been intrigued by.

    Noise level was louder as tables filled and music was a bit too loud. Food was good and the variety of items intriguing.Cocktails were interesting Will try again

    The food was delicious. We shared lamb shank pallou and some vegetable side orders along with a celebratory mocktail. We were very pleased with the service, the food and the ambiance. We got there early but as people came in, it became very noisy and the tables were close, so it was hard to hear each other.

    I wonderful surprise in Georgetown is this moderately priced restaurant with nice ambience a friendly staff really good food and prompt but not to prompt service. Look forward to going again soon.

    Absolutely Delicious food and attentive service. Would have given it five stars except that when the restaurant filled up with diners, the noise level was such that it was difficult to hear my dining partner sitting across from me. Great restaurant - just needs better accoustics.
