Hailing from Florence, Italy, Adelmo Banchetti started his career in the food and beverage world at the tender age of 16. His work took him all over the world from ships to hotels, and finally, Dallas, Texas , where he worked at the legendary Fairmont Hotel’s Pyramid Room, the Mansion On Turtle Creek, and the Crescent Court Hotel. In 1989, he and his wife Eliza, who hails from the Mediterranean region, opened Adelmo’s Ristorante to rave reviews. Their love of family, friends, good food and wines is reflected, to this day, at Adelmo’s. We feature cuisine inspired by the Italian/ Mediterranean region as well as the herbs, spices and grains indigenous to its shores. Made with the freshest ingredients. Now, the tradition continues with their children Andrew and Lauren on board . We continue to be family owned and operated and offer award winning wine selections and personalized service, all in a rare old world setting.

The food was excellent. The service was just okay. We had the oldest waiter in the place. He was doing his best, but didn't seem to give us the attention needed. Other waiters were seeing what we were needing and helping him out. It was also very loud. Lots of kids there the night we went. Not as elegant as I would have liked. I figured I could bring my 3 yr old granddaughter there. We probably won't be back due to the price for the ambiance we wanted.

The food was delicious and our waiter Tom was so great with my younger kids. He made my wife’s birthday dinner a memorable one. We will definitely be back.

All the staff here are very attentive. We were there for a birthday celebration with my family. The restaurant was full but atmosphere was still quiet.

Service was great as was the food. Wine list is pretty extensive and reasonably priced. Jeffrey had many recommendations and was very attentive without being overly so. Must try the creme brulee for dessert. One of the best we have tried. For a small bar, cocktails were spot on and came out very quickly. Love this place.

We’ve enjoyed Adelmos for more years than we like to remember. The new location (7 years now) is just as inviting as the old. The food is always fantastic and the service is impeccable. WE WILL RETURN.

Great experience. Our waiter has been there many years and was just great. He was friendly & solicitous, but not intrusive. All entrees were delicious ( especially the dover sole), caesar salad perfect, and desserts were wonderful. We will be back very soon.

Has become a family tradition to come here after Easter Mass the past 3 years. Finest Italian in DFW and wonderful folks who run the place. Can’t recommend it enough!

We celebrated our 43rd anniversary last evening. I chose Adelmo’s because I wanted a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and great food. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and were served by a superb wait staff. Adelmo’s is perfect for a date night or special occasion.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday. We really like this restaurant b/c my wife has IBS and a lot of food allergies. All the food is made fresh and from scratch and so they are able to accommodate her needs. All the food tasted excellent. My wife thought the lasagna was among the best she had ever had. Flourless chocolate cake and cheese cake were fantastic. Jon made the entire evening very special. Aldemo’s is definitely one of our favorites.

Our meal was wonderful! Food and service was top notch! We had stuffed mushrooms, lobster bisque, lasagna, filet of sole, veal scallopini, and shrimp capellini - all cleaned our plates! Had room for dessert: cheesecake, flourless chocolate cake, and bread pudding did not disappoint!

I visited Adelmo’s with my 83 year old mother (her first time) to celebrate Valentine’s Day and I’m so happy I did! I can’t think of many other restaurants with this level of food, atmosphere, service, AND personal attention and care from the family owners and their established staff ALL at the same time. Adelmo’s is an absolute neighborhood and Dallas gem! Thank you for remaining true to your vision all of these decades. Thank you! Thank you! We will be back.
