Local Ingredients

Acre is an authentic and sustainable restaurant in San Jose del Cabo with a modern farm-chic culinary experience featuring signature cocktails and a unique global cuisine concept inspired by local products to entice gourmands and those seeking the freshest farm-to-table options in the most memorable of settings.

Located just seven minutes from San Jose del Cabo and adjacent to Puerto Los Cabos, Acre is a 25-acre farm resort that combines Mexican tradition with modern architecture in an incredible palm forest setting.

Acre's restaurant and bar, overseen by Culinary Director Arturo Rivero, are the heart & soul of Acre Resort, which also boasts a 12 tree-house boutique hotel, expansive event space for groups, weddings; corporate events; Bichi, our Mexico-sourced gift boutique.

We encourage guests to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to take a walk & get to know all that Acre offers.

Incredible!!!! What a stunning property. I wish we’d had time to walk around to take it all in. The road to get there was interesting—definitely off the beaten path…but wow—soooo worth it. The bar was cute and the bartenders really know what they’re doing! Cocktails were amazing. There was a live saxaphonist who was amazingly talented. You’d have to see him to believe it. And last but not least….the food. Everything we ordered was divine. This place is one that I will not pass up on future visits. Such a cool trendy vibe!!!

We had brunch for a large party- it was fantastic!! Price was $70 for everything including 2 drinks and everything was sooooo good!!

We started with the biscuits and fried Brussels sprouts. Not what I expected but very good. My husband had the short rib and was not overly satisfied as it had a lot of fat on his cut of meat. I had the local fish, kanpachi, and was very satisfied. We ended with desserts…the frozen key lime pie was an excellent choice!!

Amazing brunch menu, outstanding food, value, service and setting. Outstanding 2 hour experience in a beautiful place, not too crowded, quick efficient service and food was out of this world (even let us take home most of our main dishes which we were too full to eat).

Best dinner experience we have had in North America. Word of mouth got us there and we will be telling anyone who travels to Cabo to find a way to make time to visit! Our waiters were super knowledgeable and every single recommendation was spot on. Take their advice, you can’t go wrong!!

Underwhelmed. Tried 4 different drinks, all were just ok. Ate the cheddar biscuits, tuna, pappardelle, and the chicken… not impressed. Parts of the chicken weren’t fully cooked, the pasta was drowning in garlic. Had high expectations after loving Flora Farms. Disappointing.

HIGHLY recommend booking a dinner at Acre. It was the highlight of our trip and the whole experience was amazing. Incredibly beautiful property and some of the best food we have ever had. Service was outstanding. 10/10!

Our lunch was very much disturbed by the presence nearby of a wedding planner who was upselling two young couples; she was loud and incessant throughout the whole time we were there. Our waitress returned to our table only sporadically to check on our wishes, preferring to chat endlessly with another couple at an adjacent table. Upon arrival we had been asked by the hostess if there was any special occasion in our lives; we told them it was our anniversary. At the end of the meal, our waitress asked us again and I told her that it had also been my wife’s birthday on April 13th, the previous Saturday; she did not offer to do anything in response - except to ask if we would like to look at the dessert menu.

We had a fabulous Anniversary dinner! The cheddar biscuits, burrata salad and fried Brussels were So delicious! Entrees good too. Carlos was a great waiter, and Enrique, the manager made it an extra special evening.

The amazing setting (be sure to walk the grounds!), great food and terrific service (including impeccable attention to life-threatening allergies in our party) make the high prices worth it. The specialty drinks were also delicious!

A bit off the beaten path, but relatively easy to find and a beautiful location. The brunch was perfect, with something for everyone and more than enough food. The service was excellent, with thoughtfulness in selection and timing of courses. The live music was also a plus. After brunch we spent additional time exploring the grounds, farm and animal sanctuary, which my family enjoyed. One of our best experiences in Cabo- highly recommend!
