Positives: Super friendly server and staff. Cool atmosphere. Fun cocktail and good wine selection. Not as positive: While the menu looked really creative and good; the food was not great. The crab cakes were all filler and soggy. The fried chicken, which was raved about, was good but nothing to write home about and needed extra flavor. The bread pudding was dry (though the ice cream on top was yum).

Four of us dined on a Saturday night. My reservation was for a standard table but we were seated at a high top. Because nothing else was available, we went with it. Our server was friendly and helpful, making suggestions and anticipating our needs. Food was a mixed experience- the calamari appetizer was more like a soup than we expected, but the fried artichokes were good. Our friend ordered short ribs and said they were good but the portion was small. Two of us had the chimichurri steak, which we both enjoyed, except we both ordered the steak medium, and they came out at two completely different levels of doneness. We ordered the affogato and berry crumble for dessert. The crumble was mostly berries and ice cream which I preferred, but may not be for everyone if they prefer more crumble. All in all, this is a good restaurant for a casual meal if you’re in the area but there were a few inconsistencies that could be refined before I’d recommend it as a destination.

For the price, it was just alright. The menu isn’t all that creative, nor is their preparations. I had the blackened salmon and my guest had the French Dip. Both were perfectly fine, but nothing notable or remarkable.
