Nathan was exceptional. He was very attentive. And even asked us when we sat down inside the restaurant if we would like to go to a less crowded table. He moved us outside. Accommodated everything we needed. And was incredibly professional. The food was awesome. We had the chicken wings that were some of the best we had.

We sat at a high table in the bar section and it was a mistake. One of the bartenders was our server and she was missing in action for a large segment of the time that we were there. Most of her time was focused on making drinks and it took a long time to get her attention. In fact, I had to go up to the bar to ask for my check. If you like better service, sitting at a high top may not be the way to go.

We had a very good meal at Acova. We loved that nearly the entire menu was gluten free available. The chicken wings are next level good. Queso was also great. The bacon burger and kale salad were also amazing!! Panini sando, fried chicken, and fish and chips just okay. Service was outstanding! They were really flexible with unexpected traffic and late arrivals for early reservations. Cool modern ambience in Highlands. Definitely recommend and would dine again.

We were visiting from Michigan, I came across this restaurant by chance, I am gluten intolerant but my husband and children are not. We had such a good experience here, the fish and chips and apple donuts were amazing! My very picky 7 year old devoured her chicken strips and rarely finishes a meal. I would come back here in a heartbeat if we lived in the area.

Beautiful place- Beautiful plants and greenery. Good food but i would reconsider having Megan as the front of your business. I made a reservation and brought 2 loved ones there for their bdays and didnt mention in the notes we needed a highchair- instead of welcoming us and thanking us for being there snf switching stuff around real quick Megan made it clear i shouldve asked for a highchair prior to making the reservation and to just be aware of it for next time.. well there wont be a next time and when i asked for Megans help after she assisted a customer instead of saying "give me one moment please" or "i will be right with you" i just got a pointer finger up in the air. I couldnt believe it. I cashed out immediately It's a beautiful place and I expected beautiful kind people to work there. Like I said , just think about having her as the face of the business. We apologize if there was a brief delay in seating you. Please forgive Meghan for not being able to get to you right away after she left a customers table. That customer had an emergency and needed to leave right away. She was trying to help him pay and pack up his food. She was unable to say “I will be right with you” as she was moving hurriedly to help him and on the other side of the dining room. She would have had to discourteously shout over other tables to say something to you. We hope you can find it in your heart to forgive her and us for disappointing you.

I love Acova and come here often. As a celiac, it’s great to come to a restaurant where 90% of the menu is gluten free. The ambience and service are great and the food and cocktails are excellent too. My only nit (why I gave 4 stars for food) is from the last two times I’ve eaten there. Both times were at Sunday brunch, and both times they were out of the brunch item I wanted to order. It was disappointing, and I’m surprised they weren’t equipped to have enough of those items to serve through brunch.

Decided to try Acova for the first time and it was amazing. Very hip place with excellent service. The food was fabulous and I want to go back to try more things as it was difficult to decide what to pick first. The sprout hash was my favorite this time and the GF cinnamon roll was great for sharing. I am definitely coming back. Perfect americano to top off the brunch.

Good food, very accommodating with dietary restrictions and great service! We went middle of weekday afternoon after driving down from the mountains and it was quiet. We were able to hang out for a couple of hours while killing time before our flight home and it was a comfy spot to chill.

Loved our meal at Acova and would highly recommend. I made a reservation in advance for my husband's birthday and we got a great table. Crowded & lively restaurant, fun atmosphere. My husband & daughter both have celiac disease and the menu was great for them, with so many gluten free options and both the host & server were aware & knowledgeable about what they could order. Everything we had was delicious - miso noodle salad, GF crab cakes, GF shrimp tortellini, lobster mac n cheese & afogato for dessert. We are from out of town, but will definitely hit this spot again the next time we are in Denver.

Loved Acova. Great for celiac. Super safe practices as either the owner or chef has celiac. Delicious food, lovely service, and beautiful ambiance. Get the artichoke fritters! Will be back when in Denver.

I don't feel like our experience overall was worth the money. I do want to preface this with saying that our waitress was amazing. She was friendly & so attentive to our needs. And the hostess was also very kind. Also, the food was delicious. Everything we got was so good. I would recommend the food, but overall our experience last night at Acova wasn't very good at all. First, when we arrived WITH a reservation, we were told the party at our table was getting up then and it would just be a couple minutes so we stepped aside and let the party behind us check in. Then the hostess informed us that the party at our table was taking longer than expected so we could wait for our booth or sit immediately at a high top. We decided to sit at the high top. My boyfriend went to the bathroom immediately when we got to our table and when he came out of the restroom he saw the party that checked in behind us sat at a booth. This means that the "wait" for the table we had reserved would have been about 30 seconds. This was frustrating. I was with my boyfriend and friends for dinner so it wasn't a big deal to be sat at a high top table. Two of us ordered from the restaurant week menu and two of us ordered from the regular menu. We all ordered appetizers. We waited 50+ minutes for all of our appetizers. The waitress apologized for the kitchen being backed up. We had been visiting and laughing so it wasn't a huge deal that the food took a while. The apps were delicious. The problem was that our main entrees came out within 5 minutes of our apps coming out. First, this isn't good flow for a meal anyways and second, at this small high top table, there was barely enough room for all of these plates so we struggle to combine our apps all onto one plate and chug drinks to get rid of glasses. This is frustrating when spending $200+ for a meal.

As always, everything about Acova is exceptional. The calamari appetizer is our favorite. The roasted red trout was the best we've ever had. The desserts are excellent. We always look forward to the kombucha margarita!

Always a great experience! The wait staff is above and beyond friendly. They are knowledgeable and make you feel welcomed. The food is excellent and the drinks are delicious!

Our biggest issue was the service felt rushed. Our dessert was brought over not even half way through our entree. We said we were not ready they took it back and came back a couple times asking if we were ready. Food and atmosphere was great

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. There was a sign at the host stand to wait to have a seat. We waited while the bartenders acted as if we weren't there. I expect something along the lines of someone will be with you in just a moment but that didn't happen to any extent. When the hostess arrived there was no apology but she was friendly. She did not tell us her name, which is a pet peeve of mine but I did hear her tell another table. It really appeared she was the hostess and the only waitress when we arrived. We ordered the wings and pozole and both were yummy although the Chipotle honey was missing the honey. For entrees, we ordered the chicken cordon Bleu sandwich and the chimmichurri steak. My husband didn't appreciate the cut of chicken being a thigh; I thought that was a good choice. The steak had a leathery texture. I have no idea how you cook a steak to make it that texture but they did and I found it disgusting. I would try this place again for the appetizers, salads and cocktails.

We were seated right away at a wonderful table. The server was perfect and very helpful. The food was much better than expected. Great evening.
