2nd time having dinner at Abe & Louie! What a wonderful experience. We opted to sit at the bar as we had met Paul - one of the bartenders at Raffles. The service is impeccable, cocktails are beautifully presented and the meal was phenomenal. We ordered the french onion soup, au gratin potatoes and the A5 strip loin. Needless to say the A5 was worth every penny.

Love this place and always have a good experience. Be careful when paying a $1,675.00 tab with a debit card with fraud protection. They rang it through 3 times and when it was flagged by BOA we were told it would take a few days to refund. No biggie but just saying?

We had a lovely night celebrating a new job. Jeffrey is the absolute best! Thank you for taking care of us. The steak was perfect and veggies also wonderful. Wine selection extensive and cocktails always spot on.

Excellent service, excellent steaks and generous sides. My only comment was the opinion soup was a little bland, but still pretty good. According to my wife, who keeps track, they have the second best Espresso Martini she ha# ever had….and she knows. We had a great time and will definitely be back

Took my son to celebrate the last day of the college year. We had a great time. His N.Y. strip was excellent, and my grilled swordfish Provençal were superb. Waiters and staff are the best.

Vey nice atmosphere, staff very nice and courteous. If I was stark eater I think I would have enjoyed it more. The clam chowder was very salty. The overall experience was nice next time I will order a steak.

Server was absolutely terrible. Did not even come to the table for almost 15 min after we ordered a drink and only came when i called him over from a nearby table after he had walked by us at least 3 times. Same was true at the end of the meal. We had been finished for at least 15 mins and he was serving the table next to us and did not even turn to look at us. had to yet again call him loudly to get his attention as the first time he did not look over. We had order drinks, apps, and steaks so it was not like we split a cup a soup and ice water so he had "more important" tables to attend to. He just was a very bad server. Abe & Louie's is better than that. Truly terrible service. food was good. But there are a lot of steak houses in Boston.

Our waiter was excellent! My wife and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and our waiter and the rest of the staff made it very memorable and special evening! We shared the crab cake as an appetizer and it was delicious! We both ordered the filet and shared the au gratin potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Everything was fabulous, especially the Brussel sprouts (and I'm not a Brussel sprouts fan)! Definitely recommend Abe and Louie's to anyone and everyone!

Hoy tuvimos mala experiencia. La carne vino bien cocida y la pedimos médium. Los camarones trajeron un cabello. Lo devolvimos y el nuevo plato también trajo un cabello. No lo cobraron pero de Muy mal gusto y poco control de calidad.

The corned beef hash was awful. It was actually a potato pancake with little hash. Otherwise the other guests had omelettes and they enjoyed them. The service was exceptional and the experience wonderful.

Very nice place with a mix of people. We were there following a Sox and Cubs game and many people looked like they came directly from the park. I don’t normally expect to see people in shorts and baseball hats in a place like this. Food and service was excellent. Noise was very loud. Not cheap but certainly there are more expensive places to get steaks in town.

Food was delicious and service was outstanding! It was a birthday dinner and they gave us a complimentary pieces of chocolate cake, which was a nice surprise plus it was excellent! the wine selection by the glass was very impressive. I always like the 6 or 9 oz choice for wine too! Love the dark, romantic ambiance. Would definitely go back!

We had a very nice dinner. Steaks were excellently prepared. Ordered the tableside baked potato which was not done tableside, but a good ten yards away with the back waiters back towards us, so really not tableside. That said, great classic steakhouse.

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer evening. Everything we ordered was delicious, right down to the fresh whipped cream offered with dessert. Very nicely done! Service was perfect.

This was my second trip to Abe & Louie's and this time we were celebrating my son's 14th birthday. Our first trip was amazing- service and food were delightful and we had no complaints. I could tell the INSTANT we arrived yesterday that things would be different. We were barely looked at by the host, and carelessly seated at a squished table while most of the restaurant was empty. After 20 minutes of waiting, we were finally asked if we wanted to order, and we were about to give up and leave. We ordered and the food was typically delcious but the service just wasn't super. I reminded our waitress that it was my son's birthday and she did bring out a nice dessert with a candle - the waitress was lovely, but maybe the restaurant was understaffed? I never even got an explanation of why service was so slow.

They Overcooked the $80 bone-in ribeye. Limited knowledge of the wines on the menu by myself and the waiter resulted in a $100 bottle of wine that I “lived with”.

We have enjoyed Abe’s many times. Last night was not great. Loud. Way too busy food was decent. Service was average. Usually its 10 stars last night 2 stars. Table we had was wedged in. Not a great. Night.

We've eaten at Abe and Louie's a number of times over the years. We managed to get a seat at the bar; Sonny and Santos were great, attentive and good just to chat with. We'll be back!
