Abattoir Blues is Sydney Olympic Park’s notorious, fully-licensed, boutique diner hidden away in a historic 1900s abattoir building. Capturing the heart and soul of the Park, Abattoir Blues is a restaurant, café and bar experience worth discovering.

We are open for all events in the park, and extend our trading hours to accommodate patrons and punters before a concert, sporting event or whatever reason you are in the park. We are the local's choice dining spot and a hotspot for those visiting the park.

We are located at the footstep of Sydney Olympic Park Train Station, as well as a bus stop right in front of our venue. We are building C within the Abattoir Heritage Precinct. We are quite hidden, however there are signs within the heritage precinct that will guide you to our venue.

3rd June 2024 Accor Stadium CommBank Matildas will host reigning AFC Women’s Asian Cup™ champions and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ participants, China PR at Accor Stadium in the second of the two match “’Til It’s Done Farewell” international series. The CommBank Matildas enter this series against China PR on the back of twelve consecutive sold out matches on home turf, including three sold out crowds of 75,784 – the largest-ever crowds for women’s football matches in the country – at Stadium Australia (Accor Stadium) during their FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ campaign.

5th June 2024 Accor Stadium Australia’s greatest sporting rivalry is back, with the 2024 Ampol State of Origin Series kicking off on Wednesday, 5 June at Accor Stadium. The Maroons are riding a wave of back-to-back Series wins, however the Blues enter 2024 with a new coach and scores to settle. State of Origin returns to Melbourne for the first time since 2018, with the iconic MCG playing host to a Game II blockbuster. The series will then conclude at Suncorp Stadium for Game III. Make sure you’re there to experience real rivalry live.

Such a great place to eat, the eggs bene was superb and worth going just for that! Ambience is relaxed and there's plenty of shade in summer! Coffee good too! Highly recommended.

Great afternoon in outdoor area with music playing. Service was great and the calamari delicious and a good range of drinks.

Great place to relax and chill before a show. Efficient service with a smile. Was there on an extraordinarily hot day…inside could have fans and/or air conditioning.

I wouldn’t usually write a review, but my husband and l really thought this restaurant was a great place to have pre-dinner meal and drinks before seeing Matchbox20 at Olympic Park. We both had the Wagu Beef Burger with Fries from the Event menu and really enjoyed it! This place has an awesome covered beer garden courtyard which feels miles away from Olympic Park, lots of lovely green trees and hedging surrounding the restaurant make it feel very hidden away. We would definitely go back next time we see a show at Olympic Park. We also loved that they were playing MB20 songs which got us super excited for the show. Make sure to book ahead as they book out!

We had a lovely meal that was fresh and served quickly. It was a bit hot inside as maybe air conditioning wasn’t working very well but the fact that we were unable to get coffee to finish off our dinner was very disappointing and something we have never faced before. It would have been the perfect way to finish our meal and the fact the machine was in view just seemed to be taunting us.. staff were amazing

Came here before seeing Matchbox 20 at Qudos. Event menu is admittedly fairly limited but it covers all the things you want/need for a quick meal, and the food was good - decent portions & tasty. Quick service and good vibe, perfect pre show option. Loved that they were playing MB20 throughout the evening ahead of the concert too!

Great service and good for a pre-event stop. The events menu is handy and varied and the staff ensure everything comes out quickly and together with plenty of time to make your event. It’s a bit hot outside in the courtyard this time of year and with no fans I was quite hot- that is my only complaint. Highly recommend and will come again!

The atmosphere is simply sublime amongst the heritage buildings and lush landscaping. The food was great, a really nice, and innovative Benni, fabulous!

Ordered a prawn pasta and Spanish omelette. The pasta came in a small portion but costed $29 which was like a main in a proper restaurant. The omelette not in the usual type of fried eggs with chorizo I side but in a pizza shape and soaked in sauces. I think the the food had been overrated in the reviews.

A place with character, great for a coffee, a chat and good quality food. The spiced maple bene was just delicious. There was a mix up with my coffee order and I had already had a sip out of it, the waitress came back and apologised with a smile and brought me the correct coffee. Highly recommended, I’ll be back.

Booked for dinner before a concert. I advised at booking and ordering that I had a nut allergy. Food came out with nuts in the salad. Waitress was very apologetic as she had specifically spoken to the kitchen about it. Was advised a new employee in the kitchen used a different salad to normal that had nuts in it, however, this is not acceptable as all staff should be trained in this aspect or food service. Was refunded meal and drinks, but it certainly tainted our visit.

We had a fantastic Father’s Day brunch at Abattoir Blues. I have kids allergic to egg and nuts which requires to confirm ingredients for things in the food, even cheese. The lady who served us was so patient and nice. She had to run to kitchen numerous times to check. She had gone extra mile to suggest what the girls could have. All things we ordered were yummy. My girls still talked about it at night and wanted to go back. I couldn’t recommend more about this place.

We went on game day, service was passable, food was mediocre, pricing was high for what we got. But hey, it’s a restaurant at the stadium so one can’t expect too much, right?

On event days you have to order off a specific menu which is fine, however the meals definitely don’t look like the photos. I ordered fish and chips and was given a chicken schnitzel- a very obvious difference. Couldn’t get the waitresses attention and was running low on time so just ate it. Was a really average schnitzel in any case. Friends wanted to order a kahlua and milk from the bar and was told no as they don’t keep milk: yet you can order a cappuccino or a milkshake….. Was just a bit disappointing but didn’t ruin our night.

My "negative feedback" is that the online ordering was playing up. I couldn't order drinks and also wanted to try the Pulled Pork burger but couldn't order it and the website would not say whether this was because they were out or otherwise.

Just coming for a quick bite we had mainly light options. Can I suggest having some cheese with taste on the toasted sandwiches - the ones we got you could hardly tell by sight or by taste there was any cheese on them. Food came out well before our drinks - really would be better to have them close together 20mins for drinks and only 5mins for food. Would have been better to hold up the food & so it was closer to the drinks coming out. Had to get water ourselves to the table - would have been good to ask that on arrival and seating.

An alternative breaky to scrambled eggs and bacon in an historic building perfectly restored to create a casual atmosphere. We tried the chilli maple bacon and the souco Shaka. Songwriting a little out of the ordinary but delicious all the same.
