L'A Food Affair est le nouveau restaurant de restaurateurs français très respectés depuis longtemps. Babette et Christian Royere, les propriétaires de l'ancien établissement Babette's Restaurant dans le port de plaisance et de l'A Food Affair Catering (ouvert en 1997) sont fiers d'annoncer l'ouverture du restaurant l'A Food Affair. L'A Food Affair propose une cuisine franco-américaine dans une ambiance charmante et romantique où vous souperez entouré(e) d'un mélange sophistiqué de mobilier ancien français et d'éclairage industriel. Le chef/propriétaire, Christian Royere, un traiteur incontournable pour les célébrités de l'industrie du divertissement (à la fois devant et derrière les caméras) est un maître de la création de cuisine française avec une touche américaine. La bouillabaisse, le bœuf bourguignon et les moules frites sont quelques-uns des délices appétissants préparés de façon innovante. Les Royere soutiennent les productions consistantes et biologiques locales aussi souvent que possible et l'intégralité du menu reflète leur engagement à servir des repas excellents. Babette et Christian se feront un plaisir de vous accueillir !

Chef Kris, Is a wonderful person and a amazing chef, He takes to the time to come to your table to ensure you meal was satisfying to you and your guest. He takes the time to show he appreciate you for coming and dining with him. His lovely wife, runs the frontend of the business and I can't say enough about how she makes you feel. Together they make an outstanding couple and business partners. My recommendation would be if you have someone special in your life and you want to a make a memory that will last, PLEASE TAKE THEM TO FOOD AFFAIR. You and your guest will not be disappointed. THANKS FOOD AFFAIR!!!!!!!....

The staff are friendly and very helpful. They were so sweet to have a birthday candle in our dessert for my husband's birthday! Delicious food. We will come back!

Fabulous restaurant. Love the ambiance. The hosts were attentive and warm. Entire experience was Larkin to being invited into someone’s home for dinner. Chef came out to check on our experience . Food was delicious and wine of the day was so wonderful. Absolutely recommend cannot wait to go back.

Wr had such a marvelous experience, this was our first time eating at A Food Affair, and it won't be the last! My father is in a wheelchair and they had a table setup in advance and were very accommodating. The food and service were amazing!!!

It’s been a while since we were here. Nothing has changed. Absolutely amazing. My wife had the french onion soup along with the beef bourguignon. I had the fois gras followed by the fried snapper. All were beyond amazing. This snapper is the BEST fish I have eaten anywhere.

Delicious comfort food and fabulous service. One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Perfect for either a date night or to bring out of town guests. It’s so lovely and comfortable inside and everything on the menu is fantastic!

Haven't been back in years. Should visit more regular. Great food. The chicken was phenomenal. There were six of us and everyone ordered something different and we all enjoyed. Exceptional all the way around.

Honestly one of the best French restaurants I’ve been to in LA. Highly recommend. Food quality is next level, service is authentic (literally everyone spoke French) and they were so kind and helpful. Our server suggested the apple desert I’m forgetting the name of but it was magical. It’s definitely a neighborhood hidden gem and I hope it remains as high quality as it is once word gets out because it’s going to become a hotspot.

AFA is everything a quintessential family-run, top quality local gem could ever hope to be. The food is cooked with deep understanding of the dish, the environment is welcoming and conducive to conversation, relaxation and enjoyment. It is a very good value as well. AFA is definitely one of our city's quality dining gems. The wines by the glass are well-chosen and there are many choices. The menu is focused, unpretentious and sophisticated. The warmth of the staff and chef are welcome and comforting. A top choice!
