Le 801 Chophouse at the Paxton s'inspire du Chophouse classique des années 1920 de New York. L'intérieur masculin du restaurant est agrémenté de bois sombre, d'éléments en marbre et en granit, de luminaires en laiton, de double vitrage en verre dépoli et de linge de maison blanc. Le 801 Chophouse sert uniquement du bœuf de qualité USDA et des fruits de mer frais. Le bar propose quant à lui une gamme de vins de classe mondiale, une variété de scotchs single malt, des cocktails maison et plusieurs cognacs en digestif. Tried the drinks and had fillet mignon with scalloped potatoes and mac and cheese. Everything was really good, and meat was in perfect temperature and cook level. Would go back again.

Only thing I would have changed was not asking how much the lobster bites were! We assumed a little more than the regular appetizers ; not $92! That was a huge surprise!

Food and drinks were good. Prices are a little high. Service good. Had a dirty folk. Hard to see in the dim lighting. Very nice restaurant.

I went at 5p and had a wonderful dinner alone in a booth at the bar. Tyler was a great server, and the food was perfect. Loved the train over the bar, as silly as that sounds. I’m from Boston, and love the Midwest. The train captured a lot of that.

801 is consistently among the best steakhouses in Omaha, which makes it easily among the best in the country. It’s pricey, but that goes with the program. I had the prime rib and it was outstanding. I ate here a few years ago and was impressed. I still am.

I have dined here on several occasions and have always enjoyed it! The steaks are beyond compare. The restaurant may be dark but don't worry if you forgot your glasses because they always have them on hand. As upscale as this place is, there is no issue with a dress code! You can show up in overalls and a tee-shirt and get the same great service and meal as someone wearing an Armani suit. A reservation is a good idea and just be aware that no matter what the price, if someone calls in sick...you may have to wait a little longer for your fantastic meal. I highly recommend this restaurant although it's truly a special occasion place for me. As always be kind and patient to those who prepare and serve your food!

Food was absolutely incredible- haven’t had a prime rib that delicious in a long time. Our server made excellent wine by the glass pairings as well. Amazing experience overall from the greeting of the hosts to the support staff.

Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The prime rib bites were to die for. We got several steaks and the lamb and all were cooked perfectly. Garlic mashed potatoes were very good though I’d probably skip the lobster mac and cheese in the future for the price. Josh was a great server and made our dinner even better!

Caesar salad and tomato/onion salad were good. Prime rib very tender. Ribeye very tasty. Filet mignon char was too much. Baked potato had bad place in it, but they still served the potato. Garlic mashed potatoes were really good.

We didn’t have plans this Easter, our grown children each live out of town & we were looking for a brunch spot just for a nice outing. 801 is one of our go to’s for a good dinner. Both my husband & I consider ourselves excellent cooks so we only go places that are really worth it to us & always top notch. When looking on open table for brunch, I noticed 801 was open earlier than usual for a Sunday just for Easter. Nice! Booked a table & had a special Easter even though we weren’t planning it! Or usual picks didn’t disappoint either, we had the bourbon republic & dirty martinis, excellent! Escargot, tomahawk steak & lobster w/scalloped potatoes & Brussels sprouts, excellent. After dinner cocktail’s & took a piece of carrot cake & chocolate cake to go along w/the leftovers. I told my husband on the way home, 90% of the people around here are serving those “crack” potatoes (hash browns w/cornflakes & cheese), frog egged salad & jello jigglers. I think we need to make 801 Chophouse our new Easter tradition!

Booked this restaurant for my parent’s anniversary. The food was amazing and ambience was perfect. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The sides were family style.

Great atmosphere. The staff was amazing and the food incredible. Had lobster bites and ribeye. Both excellent. Carrot cake for desert was the best I’d ever had.

Excellence service and waiter explains options well. Steaks cooked to specification and generous side portions. Drinks decent but don’t really stand out. Pan roasted mushrooms were fantastic.
