The prices are comparable to other steak houses in downtown Mpls. However, the attention to detail, service, food are no where up to the other's standards. No check back after food was served to see if we were missing anything (we were). Overall service was very spotty. My prime rib was off the charts salty, and I like salty items. I was not impressed with the blue cheese red potatoes - something was off. Another person said the seasonings on his pork chop were odd. Overall, not a good experience.

We went to celebrate our anniversary. Our table there was a menu sign by the staff congratulating us for our anniversary. Food, ambience and staff, all were wonderful. Our dessert was on them. Thank you so much! You guys are awesome!

Great dinner and great service provided by Meredith. Only thing I didn’t like is the cumin in the lobster chowder. Completely out of place. Everything else was terrific. Highly recommended.

From the time we walked in the door till we left I could not asked for a better experience. We were greeted by a smiling face and some how new who I was. Gave us a choice on where to dine. I had one of the best waiters I have had in a very long time. His name is Rick if you are dining at this location I would strongly recommend him. he knew everything about the menu. He took his time with us and explained the different cuts of meat and where they were from. He even went as far to talk to us about the city. The food was prepared perfectly. The manager even stopped by to chat for a minute to ask us how was everything and actually wanted to know

We had such an amazing experience. Our waiter Alex, was so knowledgeable not only about the mead, but the wine! I don’t know how many times we’ve told a server we love Caymus but want to try something else and they’ve had no idea what to give us. Alex asked what we liked and why we liked it. He gave us four options and the one we ended up getting was phenomenal! Some of the best service we’ve had in a long time! The food! I can’t say enough about the flavor of everything we tried. So deep and perfectly cooked! We had the Delmonico and it couldn’t have been more perfectly cooked and flavor! We paired that with mushrooms, creamed corn (melted in our mouths), and cheddar hash browns. The hash browns were nice and crispy with great flavor! Overall such a great experience! Highly recommend!

This was our first time in and it was very good! We had great service, the food was very good. The filet was a little salty, and the Caesar salad had an excessive amount of dressing. The Sunday Supper is a great deal!

Overall the experience was outstanding, great service and very attentive. “Side portion” were very small for the price. Example Lobster Mac n Cheese $27., 5 male guess, we each had a Table spoon. Not the end of the world but we did feel slighted. I would eat here again.

Was a great steak, tuna tartar was outstanding. Waiter was fantastic Drink prices are a bit steep. Wine prices also a bit on the high side. Overall will be back for the food but will check for a corking fee and bring own wine. Sat in the bar area in a booth so was quite loud but would like to return and experience the dining room

Our waitress or bus boy left our water glasses at low levels without refilling during our course. Our waitress approaches with dessert menu while we were halfway through our main course, and placed it on our table. Our food was delicious and prepared to our liking.

The service at 801 Chophouse in Minneapolis is consistently outstanding, and our encounters with Minh are always a highlight. The quality the food, drinks and service never fails to impress us, but it's Minh who truly makes each visit unforgettable. Her ability to recognize us every time we return is astonishing and adds a personal touch that makes us feel incredibly valued. Minh is the gem of 801, and she's the main reason why we continue to come back when we choose to dine downtown.

Best meal we have had in Minneapolis! Our waiter was attentive when needed and a wealth of knowledge on the menu items. The manager came over to check out how everything was which I appreciate! The entire staff from valet to bus boys were wonderful. The steaks amazing!!! The Truffle butter was spot on and the sides were wonderful. Only one issue of the steak being a tad undercooked for my granddaughter but the flavor was so good she didn't mind. It's spendy but so worth it!

Our first time here, we had a belated Valentine's Day dinner. We got the Sunday supper: salad, steak or salmon, and dessert for $56/each, a good value compared to the full menu prices. Service was outstanding, food wonderful.
