I had a birthday and wow! This staff made it special. I wasnin Minneapolis on business and had just myself out to dinner. But this team had a nice menu made. Some table decorations. Attentive staff. A birthday desert. The steak, au poivre sauce, creamed corn and lobster chowder were all spectacular!

Love the New York style setting for this fabulous restaurant. The decor is upscale and sophisticated, and our service was exceptional. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they decorated the table, provided us with desserts on the house etc. etc. It was so nice! Overall, a great evening.

We visited 801 for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The service was outstanding, and our steaks could not have been more delicious. 801 is now in the mix when we want to have a first-rate steak. I am mad at myself for not having visited prior!
