Enjoy panoramic views of Los Angeles with this reservation for our 3 course prefix menu in our dining room. WINDOW TABLES ARE NOT GUARANTEED for any reason, but will do our best to accommodate requests. No a la carte menu is available in the dining room and we kindly ask all guests to participate in our 3 course, $95.00 per person menu. An 18% service charge is added to all guests checks and is fully distributed to the hourly restaurant staff. A credit card is necessary to reserve the table but will not be charged unless the party late cancels or no shows. Business casual dress code required. Your Instagram post said children is $55 each. We ended up paying much more than that for each child. The waiter had no idea about the deal online. Next time, please don’t post false advertising.

The steak was overly salty and, although ordered medium-rare, it was closer to medium in doneness. The salad dressing was excessively sour, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. While the restaurant may be a great spot for drinks and enjoying the view, it falls short in delivering a satisfying dining experience.

The food was not up to par for the price. Desert and a drink should have been included for $140 per person on Mother’s Day. The appetizer was small and the main courses were bland. Definitely not impressed!

I made a reservation here for Mother's day and spent close to $600 for 4 people. We were seated in the middle of the dining hall and barely could see any of the view also because the windows are 4/5 frosted. I didn't mind spending big bucks if we had a glimpse of the view, but to see the spectacular view, we would've had to stand over near other tables and we didn't want to be bothersome. I had thought they had a level that you can go to just for the view, but they shut that level down. The food wasn't anything close to fine dining. The steak came out rare, and you'd expect it to melt in your mouth if it was quality steak, but instead was so tough and rubbery. We asked them to cook it slightly more and it was the same rubbery steak. The only good dish here was the octopus and everything else was less than mediocre. I honestly feel robbed because the experience definitely wasn't worth the money.

Made reservations for my wife’s birthday thinking we were going to have dinner at 71 and above with a beautiful view so I thought . I arrived 1hr and 20 min ahead of my reservation and asked if I can get a panoramic view and I was willing to wait my reservation wasn’t for another hour and 20 min so I didn’t mind waiting. The hostess responded with there was no way possible to get a panoramic view that they were booked for the night even tho we also had reservations as well and I asked how was it possible to get a view they responded with first come first served which was very confusing the food was ok wasn’t worth it never coming back I also asked the waitress if she can help me get a panoramic view and she responded with what do you want me to do about it ? I was very taken aback with that response, 30 min after we were seated 2 panoramic view tables we’re available and one of the bar tenders were escorting a couple to one of the seats to where the couple replied “thanks for getting us in my boy” after hearing that I knew then that it’s more preferred for those that work there to give those connections to their friends rather than those who actually reserved a table. I honestly don’t ever want to come back to this establishment Mastros would have been a way better option with an ocean view that is reserved for those who requested it upon making the reservation unlike here where they tell you “first come first serve”

I have to say… it’s not worth all the money. There are plenty of rooftop restaurants and bars with beautiful views and environments and you don’t have to spend 600 dollars for three people to enjoy it. Had a lovely time but will never go back.

The music was bad jazz restaurant track. Thr crowd is 100% tourists. The view was okay. The service was reasonable attentive, but it lacked continuity. When I informed them of my allergy to chicken, it was acknowledged. The Amuse-bouche was supposed to be a vegan mushroom broth, but it definitely had chicken in it. After one sip I had an allergic reaction to it. When I asked a waiter about it, they did not offer to check with the chef. I insisted on speaking with a manager, they checked with the kitchen. Instead of acknowledging their error and making sure I was okay, they continued to deny that there was chicken broth or powder. I was left with an itchy month, a horrible stomach ache all evening. We didn’t have alcohol, and spent $280 with their standard 17% tip. Today we went to Ehrwon and had an incredible meal for only $80. Save your money, and skip 71Above.

From valet to front check in girl to our amazing server Umaro, this was our favorite dining experience. Umaro was very kind and made us feel comfortable. Food was amazing some of the best I’ve had. Everything was 10/10

I’ve always wanted to experience a 3 course meal and am very happy that my first time was with 71Above. Everything about each plate my partner and I had was just an experience like non other and the service was just outstanding. I hope to return again in the future!

The service and the ambiance was amazing. I have been here before, and the food was incredible the first time (2 years ago). However, on my second visit, the food quality was very subpar. Not worth the price for the poor quality of food.

Absolutely incredible experience. Elevator up took less than 4 minutes. Staff was so attentive that it almost felt like a culture shock- they do absolutely everything for you and cultivate a warm and thoughtful atmosphere. Everything about this place is the definition of ‘above and beyond’. Food was so good that it didn’t seem real, portions were spot on, and the cleanliness of the place was remarkable. The view is spectacular; so good that I actually experienced vertigo for a few minutes when I first saw the skyline. Incredibly romantic, intimate, and surreal place to dine. Cannot recommend enough, this place is the definition of fine dining, class, and perfection in the highest degree.

We were with my husband for the first time. About food, it was tasty, but for that price I was not full but okay, but my husband was hungry after dinner! The main course was meat with greens and no rice or potato, like for dinner it wasn’t enough! We were disappointed for that price!

Overall it was worst service. You asked dress code, where is it? Some people are not dressed you code. You should refuse those customer. You don’t have a guts to say that, I know that.

Ambiance was amazing. Clean, great view, everyone well dressed. Our waiter was exceptional, friendly, personable, and attentive. The music: chill hop fit perfectly. The menu not only visually and culinarily creative but executed beautifully to taste.

This was my my first time coming to 71Above, I brought my girlfriend for a date and it was absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect. Our waiter was Jay, and he was professional, made us feel very comfortable there, amazing job of explaining what each dish was… the view was great we had a table by the window. And the foods quality you can taste, you definitely get what you pay for. And I would absolutely be going back soon

Came here for my 50th Birthday with my girlfriend and my two kids (19 and 11) after researching for a once in a lifetime experience! I felt it was! Beautiful views and decor! I was SOO hoping to get a window seat which they warn you that you might not get..but we got one right in front of the kitchen. Thought it was gonna be a distraction but it was fine. Our server and staff were excellent!! Very helpful on the menu and very kind! I loved how they gave us the option for my daughter too to not have to get the three course option but we did anyway! :) The octopus was sooo great, both my son and I enjoyed. We all thought the chilled asparagus was ok. The ribeye was excellent! The chicken was good as well (11 year old liked), the salmon was I little too salty we thought. The desserts were amazing!! Wow! I paid $600 total which I felt was worth it! Amazing view, great staff, great food, great experience….An experience I won’t forget. Probably a one time only place though. My opinion: it was a slow night and there are plenty of window seats around that are available (some in closed off section?). They should fill up every window seat available for customers and use the non windows as a last resort. (Although, my kids did say that having a seat in the middle away from the windows could be great too…but you pay for the view!). I wish everyone could get the windows! A wonderful evening!! And memorable birthday!

Absolutely incredible experience. Our servers were a team and I've never felt more serviced and supported. It was our first time at 71Above and they made it a very memorable experience. The food was amazing, the service was top notch. Absolutely amazing, Highly Recommend to anyone looking into it.

A very good dining experience, with a first-class environment and overlooking the night view of Los Angeles. The service was good. When there was a seat by the window during the meal, the waiter helped us adjust it there, which made up for a little regret. 100 points
