6th and Vine is a restaurant and wine bar located in the heart of the Arts District in downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Guests can visit for lunch and dinner for locally-sourced dishes created by our new Executive Chef, Michael Spencer. 6th and Vine has an award-winning wine list, full bar, and a casual atmosphere. Book a table outside on our back patio surrounded by brick buildings and flowers.

    One of our favorite local restaurants. The Pasta Verde was wonderful. Great food and friendly wait staff.

    We promptly arrived for our 6 pm reservation and were seated on the patio. The staff were friendly and accommodating. However, our server informed us that they were out of several food items...lamb skewers, pork chops and barrata to be a few. This was a little disappointing with it being on the front end of the dinner service hour. I have worked in restaurants...if you find you will be out of items on your menu (following, say, the brunch hour) you should be able to figure out how to get them prior to your dinner hour, especially on mother's day. Again, service was great, but maybe figure out your logistics.

    This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Things have changed. Prices went way up and food portion size went down. We were a group of four. Had a lamb appetizer, some polenta cakes, salmon, a steak and a pear salad. The menu descriptions sounded much better than the food tasted. Still it was good food. Our server told us they just started a new menu. He could not answer basic questions we had about it. I'll go back, but not for a full dinner.
