The food was fresh, cooked well and very tasty. The tables were all full (probably 50 people dining) but the time from order to food served was longer than I would have expected. If you have the time to wait, 507 Pub(lic) House is a good dining option.

3rd time in a week - and the food was OUTSTANDING each time. Along with attentive service, this was our favorite restaurant during our week’s visit to Rochester. Kudos to chef and the team!

The pan-seared scallops with angel hair pasta was delicious! 2nd night in a row and the food was fantastic, coupled with attentive service.

From the moment we walked in, it was a terrific experience. Chelsea was knowledgeable, personable, and expertly guided us in our dining choices. Even the chef/owner came out and romanced the menu - our choices, the panko crusted sole with angel hair pasta was devine and the decadent Chicken Moulin Rouge was worth every delicious Gorgonzola cream sauce bite! Ending the meal with the chocolate brownie was perfect! Do not miss the opportunity to eat here when in Rochester! And we made our return reservation for Wednesday’s Date Night promotion!

Amazing food and location! Our waitress was very good, she offered great opinions on the food and interacted with everyone at our table - even our 7 year old! We will be back!

We enjoyed the overall ambience- but there were a few things that we didn’t love. Our server took a while to come to us- not her fault because she had 3 tables sat at one time. The manager was apologetic about her delay but didn’t offer to take our drink order while we waited. We ordered the croquettes as an appetizer. I’m certain fresh out of the fryer they would have been great but the inside was lukewarm. We had a burger and Irish meatloaf. The burger was delicious but the fries were cold and not crispy and the Irish meatloaf just seemed like it was steamed- missing that nice crispy caramelization that you get on the outside of a meatloaf when baked. Our server was pleasant and gave good service once she was took our order. Overall it was not a bad experience by any means and I would probably be willing to try this restaurant again.

This our second visit. Both times were excellent service and A++ Food. Great menu with sandwiches and entrees. They also offer 3 additional chefs creations that were not on the menu. Tuna Tartare was amazing. My husband has the Irish meatloaf both times. Bread pudding dessert was soooo yummy.

Our new place to eat when in Rochester. The service was friendly and good. At one point the chef came by the table and talked on the menu. Great descriptions and we all tried some of his suggestions, the food was unique in presentation and flavor. Highly recommend

We were seated 15 mins after our reservation. We then ordered an appetizer, the deviled eggs. Those were pretty good. We then ordered our entree’s after 20-30 mins the smash burger with duck fat fries I ordered comes out and the waiter says he is sorry to my date because they are out of the flat bread she ordered. She then finds something else to eat. I tell the waiter to bring me out a fresh burger when my dates food is done because how rude would it be if I ate my food while she still waits for hers. The waiter agrees and takes my plate away. He comes back quickly and tells me they want me to take the first burger on them and they will bring me a fresh one with her meal. After another 15-20 mins both of our meals come out. My smash burger with regular fries instead of the duck fat fries I had ordered. My dates food was good but a bit spicy for her liking. My smash burger was over well done and like rubber, which made me decide that I definitely do not want to eat the first burger they gave me to take home. Our waiter never came back to ask how it was, the next time he was by our table was to ask if we were ready for the check. Since it had already been a disappointment, I didn’t want to make it any worse for my date. I figured I would pay the bill and we could get on with our night. The bill came out with no deductions just a free rubbery smash burger for the road.

I so wanted to love this place that used to be one of my favorite places, Half Barrel. The food was great. The service left a lot to be desired. We sat with dirty appetizer dishes for 15 minutesduring which time the server came by multiple times. Our silverware was dirty and the server came by twice to get us clean but didn’t. Then a big production was made to get it to us. By this time our entrees were cold. Then we sat with dirty dishes again for 10 minutes. I finally asked that they be cleared. After asking for our check we watched the server and chef leave and go for a 10 minute walk. After asking the other server to cash us out he waited for our server to return. As for the ambiance, the music did not fit the vibe nor was the volume tempered. During the musical crescendos there was no way to talk to each other. I will give them another shot but if it’s like this one I won’t give it a third.

We found ourselves out of town on the 14th and wanted a special dinner. Despite the implication that this is a Pub, it is far more than that. We were greeted by two well-dressed hostesses, seated immediately and cared for by them, the waitress, the sommelier and the manager. Despite this attention, the price was not extraordinary. The wine selection was sufficient. More importantly, the food was very good. Noise was sufficiently low to carry on a private conversation. We never were rushed or felt that we had to relinquish the table. When we return in the coming weeks, we will dine there again.

I had never been to 507 Public House before and had heard nothing about it, so with the Rochester Restaurant Week publicity I decided to try it. It was very good. The food was very well prepared, tasteful and served with a nice presentation. The staff was personable. The music was a very fun selection of 60s-70s-80s. I will be going back.

Friends and I had dinner here during Rochester Restaurant week. They had a special prix fixe 3 course menu, with multiple options for each course. As usual, the service and food was outstanding.

Our first time at 507 Public House was excellent. We took advantage of the Wednesday "date night special", which was a great value! The food, the service and feel of the place was very nice. We will go back for sure!

Delicious croquettes and prime rib special! Would def go back! Only deducted 1 star because the server placed my order wrong but she did give me a price difference. Also, noisy and hard to hear my friends, server and chef who came to talk to us.

Service was not great. Order was missed then order came out wrong. After taking our order our menus were still left there. Restaurant was not busy on Friday night but things came out pretty slow. Even when asked for ketchup and ranch.

This is Chef Youness Bojji's third restaurant in Rochester. Previously, he owned and operated Casablanca and Chez Bojji. I've followed him to each new location. Many of his signature dishes are on the menu at 507, and he's added manyAmerican comfort food items, as well. His passion for cooking is very evident in every dish. He and his business partner, Tim, do everything they can to ensure their guests feel welcome. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Everything was good, not great. My Irish Meatloaf had very spicy barbecue sauce on it and the gouda potatoes had too much pepper. My husband’s burger was good, but nothing special. It wasn’t a bad place to eat, it just didn’t have anything to commend it especially.

As always we had a great experience. The excellent food is what brings us here but the staff is top notch. The owner Tim took time to greet everyone in our party and acknowledged our birthday guest. Our server was the right amount of attentive and Chef Youness took time to stop to make sure that we all enjoyed our meals. My husband had the New York Strip and I had the Chicken Moulin Rouge. Others had the flatbread, Diablo Burger, and Irish Meatloaf. Everyone was very happy with their selection. Can’t wait to come back. They always make sure they know that you are appreciated.

Service was great but the food was just okay. The price was too high for the quality. If you’re just going for drinks, it’s a good place but if you want a good meal there are far better options in town for those prices.

Brought my aunt and uncle to celebrate. We ordered the Korean style chicken wings, Irish meatloaf, chicken tikka masala family style. All was excellent! My aunt even ordered another chicken wings for take away. Oh, we started off with the tomato bisque. Fantastic as it was hearty and different than expected. I’d recommend. Service was respectful and responsive. We liked the atmosphere of the older building. Great addition to the downtown area.

Showed up for reservation on time. Advised kitchen was short staffed, food running about 30 minutes late. Drinks were 15 - 20 minutes. Ordered two appetizers, first one delivered about 40 minutes later second one delivered in another 15 minutes. The wings were scrawny, anemic looking in Buffalo sauce. Ordered blackened chicken sandwich which turned out to be an overcooked, flattened piece of chicken breast. It had the texture of a thick piece of cardboard. Ordered truffle fries and received regular fries. Did not eat half of sandwhich. The Frenchman's burger was a little better, cooked medium with some pink and topped with egg. The burger was heavily salted. Ordered side salad with it and a lot of the lettuce was brown. Service was sporadic, I understand being short staffed, however restaurant was down to about 5-7 people inside and a server was nowhere to be found for some time. This was our first venture here, and other than the drinks which were okay I can't recommend this restaurant. We wont be back.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Rochester! The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we’ve had in awhile. The drinks are amazing too! Highly recommend!
