5 STAR AMBIANCE. 5 STAR CUISINE 5 STAR SERVICE. 5 STAR WINE LIST Chef Lutz and his wonderful happy and friendly team gave us a wonderful scrumptious meal from start to finish at this Michelin level dining fare in BERnAL HTS SF!! I do admit… we tend to prefer the Chefs Tasting meal with wine or mock-drink pairing… Lobster 🦞 risotto was bliss and perfectly made it seemed. The lamb and wagyu was cooked to med-rare moist perfection. Moist meat is always a treat to place in mouth right? The uni Crème brûlée with various was a nice melody of salt and savory at the end.

We had a fabulous night at 3rd cousin, staff was warm and welcoming. It was our first time and they gave us all the info we needed when deciding what to order. We enjoyed the tasting menu 3 regular and one vegan. All the courses were delicious and unique. Will definitely be coming back, what a gem!

Superb menu with options for most pallets. Great local ingredients and superb wine selections. Excellent service and wonderfully quiet environment.

My husband and I had high hopes for our special evening at this restaurant, but unfortunately, it fell short of our expectations. Despite making a reservation weeks in advance for a special occasion, we were seated outdoors on a chilly evening, despite available tables indoors. While the waitress was kind, the refusal to accommodate our preference left a sour taste. We opted for the chef's tasting menu, which consisted of 8 courses. While the food was acceptable, it didn't quite hit the mark for our palates. Additionally, the pace of service felt rushed, with all courses served in less than two hours. But we kept an open mind about exploring different cuisines. However, it was the series of unpleasant incidents that truly marred our experience. Firstly, being asked to move tables under the assumption that we were walk-in customers and been told that we’d been sitting too long there, despite having made a reservation and ordered the full course, felt like a profiling misstep. The insincerity of the apology further exacerbated the situation. Furthermore, the interruption of our conversation to offer unnecessary to-go packaging for complimentary chocolates and cookies was both intrusive and unwelcome. And for another waiter gave us another exactly the same complimentary feel off. He claimed to wanted make us feel comfortable while keep cutting our conversation or when I talked to him was contradicting with what we felt. Ultimately, the culmination of these events left us questioning the value of our nearly $500 meal. If you're concerned about potentially being profiled or subjected to intrusive service, I would advise reconsidering your reservation and exploring other dining options that prioritize professionalism and hospitality.

We ordered a la carte and appreciate still being able to do this. The uni crème brûlée is such a delicious take on crème brûlée for those who love uni. The tuna crudo equally good. We had the grouper with lobster mage which totally made the dish. the fish was perfectly cooked. The pork chop also perfectly cooked with a sauce that tasted a bit citrus and had little golden tomatoes and mustard seed in it. We were licking the plate! we eat outdoors when we eat here. Indoors looks cozy but is noisier.

Incredible tasting menu … our table had both the vegan and regular menus (great we could have both) and every dish was a work of art. And a great list of wines by the glass to go with it all.
